(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey has announced its 2026-27 Broadway Season, featuring seven fantastic national Broadway tours. The 2026-27 Broadway Season will feature Tony® Award-winning hits, fan favorites, and multiple State Theatre debuts. Season tickets for the 2026-27 Broadway Series are on sale now and save buyers over 35% on tickets to these shows. Single tickets will go on sale in late July.
State Theatre New Jersey's 2026-27 Broadway Series kicks off with the strange and hilarious musical comedy based on the beloved Tim Burton movie, Beetlejuice on September 25-27. Other shows in the series include the critically acclaimed show based on the novel, Water for Elephants on January 15-17; the Tony® Award-winning twist on The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz on March 6-7.
Also included in State Theatre's 2026-27 Broadway season as add-ons to season tickets are national tours of the Broadway sensation Jersey Boys on October 16-17; the holiday hit based on the classic 1983 movie A Christmas Story: The Musical on November 20-22; and A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical on March 19-21.
State Theatre New Jersey is offering season tickets to its Broadway Series. Season ticket holders can order their series tickets now, months before single tickets go on sale to the general public on July 31. Season ticket holders receive some of the best seats in the historic theater and those seats remain theirs, year after year, for as long as they remain season ticket holders. Season tickets also come with many added benefits such as 35% savings compared to single ticket prices, half price drinks at their concessions, free ticket exchanges within the series, and a bring your friends discount that allows single tickets to be added at a 15% savings off single ticket prices.
Broadway show tickets are currently only available through their season ticket program. Single tickets to most of these Broadway shows will go on sale on July 31. State Theatre New Jersey, a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, celebrated its 100th Anniversary after major renovations in December 2021. Originally built as a silent film and vaudeville palace, State Theatre's historic significance was honored when PBS featured it in its documentary series, Treasures of New Jersey. Today, State Theatre is the largest performing arts center in Central New Jersey and has welcomed more than six and a half million people through its doors since reopening as a nonprofit performing arts center in 1988. State Theatre New Jersey is a cornerstone of the cultural vitality of Middlesex County and averages a total economic impact on New Brunswick and the surrounding area of more than $18 million a year. The mainstage programs have included high-caliber artists such as Diana Ross, Tom Jones, Kevin Hart, Ringo Starr, Melissa Etheridge, John Leguizamo, Harry Connick, Jr., Peter Frampton, and Leanne Morgan.
