Skyline Theatre Company to Kick Off 25th Season with "Unbelievable"
 

(BLOOMFIELD, NJ) -- Skyline Theatre Company, a professional theatre company since 2001 with a home in Essex County's Bloomfield for the last several years, announces its season-long calendar of live theatre and events for 2026, beginning with a special one-weekend-only "Broadway in the Works" presentation of the new musical Unbelievable on March 21-22, 2026.

 


Pushcart Players Artistic Director Performs "Over the River and Through the Woods" with Company Theatre Group
 

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- Paul Whelihan, producing artistic director of NJ's renowned touring educational theater, Pushcart Players will appear in the Company Theatre Group's production of Over the River and Through the Woods from March 7-15, 2026 at the Hackensack Performing Arts Center.

New Jersey Musician Brian Erickson on Reinventing His Past and Refusing to Leave Music Behind
 

​​​​​​​Brian Erickson (The Paper Jets, The Extensions)  recently released a pair of albums, Everyday Forever (Brian's Version) and Everyday Sketches. They're getting airplay across the United States. Everyday Forever was just nominated for Album of the Year at the Asbury Park Music Awards. We caught up with Erickson to talk about creativity as identity, works old and new, and collaborating with your younger self.

 


Irish Music and Dance Returns to Albert Music Hall on March 7th

John Coltrane's Centennial Birthday to be Celebrated at McCarter Theatre Center and NJPAC
 

Joe Lovano learned about John Coltrane in the basement of his Cleveland home. "My dad played saxophone," he said, "and he loved Coltrane. His record collection was full of Coltrane recordings from the earliest Bethlehem records, all the Prestige, into Atlantic, and, of course, the Impulse! period."
