The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center hosts a celebration of Black History, Mind, Body & Soul on Saturday

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center hosts a celebration of Black History, Mind, Body & Soul on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Join them as they journey through Black History with artifacts, historical displays, and artistic performances. Admission is free.

Activities include live music and art performances, spin cycling sessions, cooking demonstrations, open mic poetry and reading, professional photos, complimentary haircuts, giveaways, and more. There will also be a community fair with resources for health and wellness, veteran services, scholarships, tax and energy assistance, and more.

There will be a special Black History program at 2:00pm in the Chapel with singing, praise dancing, community spotlight speakers, "Black First" and Open Mic Poetry/Reading.

Come wearing your cultural attire. Prizes for best outfits will be announced during the program.

The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center is located at 1865 Harrison Avenue in Camden, New Jersey.
