(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The Cape May Stage Reading Series continues at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 7:00pm with a reading of Your Name Means Dream by Jose Rivera. This is a powerful and poetic new play that explores identity, resilience, and the pursuit of hope.
Blending raw emotion with lyrical storytelling, it asks urgent questions about humanity in an age where artificial intelligence is reshaping our dreams and decisions. Bold, moving, and deeply human, this play shines a light on the courage it takes to define ourselves—beyond what any algorithm can predict.
The reading is directed by Roy Steinberg.
This special reading event is open to the public and free to attend. No tickets or advanced RSVP required. Seating is on a first-come basis and doors open 30 minutes prior to the reading start time. Donations will be accepted at the door.
The Robert Shackleton Playhouse is located at 405 Lafayette Street in Cape May, New Jersey.
