Blowupradio.com Celebrates 25th Anniversary with Supersized Annual Benefit Webathon For The Spondylitis Association Of America

(SOUTH AMBOY, NJ) -- New Jersey internet radio station BlowUpRadio.com - Where NJ Rock Lives, announces its 18th annual Banding Together Webathon to benefit the Spondylitis Association Of America. Taking place for a full week, Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 2025, on their internet radio station. Ninety acts from New Jersey and all over the globe will perform half hour performances, as they raise money to fund research and provide the programs and services to help the community suffering from this debilitating disease.

This year's webathon will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of BlowUpRadio.com.

"It is both humbling and overwhelming, that this year when I reached out to people for this benefit and said it would also celebrate our 25th anniversary, that so many wanted to be involved," says Lazlo, the founder of BlowUpRadio.com and the organizer of Banding Together, "What would normally be a three webathon just was not going to fit the number of acts that wanted to be involved, so Banding Together is going to be a full week this year!"

This is just another way for Lazlo to couple the two things BlowUpRadio.com has always been about. "So much has changed since I started this station back in 2000, but we have always been here to shine a light on New Jersey's original music scene, and do benefits for worthy causes."

During Banding Together BlowUpRadio.com will have a link to a special donation page on the Spondylitis Association Of America’s website. Every donation of $20 or more will get an exclusive download of a this year's compilation, dubbed, "Big Box Of Music", because it features 233 songs that have been played on BlowUpRadio.com over the last 25 years. "The songs on here are just a drop in the tens of thousands of songs played on BlowUpRadio.com over the past 25 years, but they were all handpicked by me, and I think is a good representation of the diverse types of music played on our station."

Spondylitis is a genetic rheumatoid arthritic condition that causes inflammation and fusion in the vertebrae of the spine. To date, BlowUpRadio.com has raised over ten thousand dollars for the cause, and raised awareness of the genetic disease, which the Centers For Disease Control says affects more than 2.7 million adults in the US.

“I started doing the Banding Together benefits in 2007 after my wife was diagnosed with Spondylitis, and each year musicians have made this benefit possible by performing and donating their music to the compilation,” says Lazlo. "This year coinciding with BlowUpRadio.com's 25th anniversary has made this bigger than any previous year. I am so thankful to everyone involved.”
