NJ Rep to present World Premiere of "Can't Run Can't Dance" by Gregg Henry 
(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep) is proud to present the world premiere of Can’t Run Can't Dance, a wild new comedy by Gregg Henry - the prolific film and television actor best known for major roles in "Scandal," "Gilmore Girls," and Guardians of the Galaxy. This fresh theatrical caper, directed by Lisa James, will run from September 11 through October 5, 2025, with opening night set for Saturday, September 13 at 7:00pm.

Final Weeks to See "Slow Motion" at Grounds For Sculpture 
(HAMILTON, NJ) -- Slow Motion, an exhibition at Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) guest curated by Patricia Eunji Kim for Monument Lab, is entering its final weeks and will close on September 1, 2025. The exhibition, which is currently on view in and around the sculpture park's Domestic Arts Building, expands the boundaries of contemporary sculpture using unconventional materials and processes.

More Than Bootstraps Awarded Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation Grant 
(PASSAIC, NJ) -- More Than Bootstraps (MTB), a New Jersey non-profit organization, has received a $1,200 grant from Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation to support its college access and success work in Passaic. MTB was selected because its mission aligns with that of Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation and its education and youth programs giving pillars. This is the second year of funding support from Blue Foundry.

Newark to Host 7th Annual 'Reading Under the Stars' on Wednesday 
(NEWARK, NJ) -- Mayor Ras J. Baraka has announced that the City of Newark will host the seventh annual "Reading Under the Stars" for youth and families on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in Ivy Hill Park, at Mt. Vernon Place, in the West Ward. Five acclaimed children's book authors will read their works. The event is FREE and open to the public.
