4) Six Flags Great Adventure To Host 'World's Largest Swimming Lesson' Event on Thursday - (JACKSON, NJ) -- Six Flags Great Adventure will be joining hundreds of waterparks, aquatic centers and swim schools across the country for the 16th annual World’s Largest Swimming Lesson. The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Blue Lagoon in Hurricane Harbor New Jersey. It starts at 9:30am.

5) Bell Theater presents "Steel Magnolias" with Broadway Star-Filled Cast - (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- A beloved celebration of friendship and community, Steel Magnolias has become an American cultural classic on stage and screen. Robert Harling's original play comes to Bell Theater at Bell Works this summer with a starry cast of Broadway icons, including Charlotte D'Amboise,  Amy Spanger, Nancy Opel,  and  Kathy Fitzgerald. This production of Steel Magnolias runs at Bell Theater at Bell Works in Holmdel from July 25 through August 10, 2025.

6) Grant Writing Workshops begin Tuesday, June 24 to kick off Middlesex County's 2026 Arts, History, and Historic Preservation and Capital grant application cycle - (MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ) -- The 2026 Middlesex County grant cycle begins this summer with funding opportunities for municipalities and local nonprofit organizations in support of arts, history, and folklife programming and facilities in Middlesex County. These grants are offered by the Arts Institute of Middlesex County and the Board of County Commissioners to be used for Arts, History, Historic Preservation, and Capital projects. Projects must serve the public and take place in Middlesex County.

11) "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" Returns to NYC for an Off-Broadway Run at The Gene Frankel Theatre - (NEW YORK, NY) -- After a critically acclaimed run in 2022, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance returns to The Gene Frankel Theatre for a limited Off- Broadway run. Thomas R. Gordon, Artistic Director of The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company, directs the production. The revival runs June 26 to July 26, 2025.

12) Philadelphia Folk Festival Announces Complete Lineup for The Main Stage Evening Concerts - (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- The 62nd Philadelphia Folk Festival is excited to announce the complete lineup of artists performing on the Main Stage Evening Concerts during the weekend of August 15-17, 2025 at the Old Pool Farm in Upper Salford Township. Newly added artists include Alejandro Escovedo; Cedric Watson et Bijou Creole; Eileen Ivers; The Gibson Brothers; The Lee Boys; and Ordinary Elephant. Veteran Philadelphia area singer-songwriter, John Flynn, will emcee the Main Stage for the festival weekend as well as perform.
