Remember Jones stars in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" at Bell Theater at Bell Works. (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the groundbreaking, four-time Tony Award-winning musical, comes to Bell Theater at Bell Works in Holmdel, NJ from June 13-29, 2025. Hedwig stars and is co-directed by Jersey Shore soul sensation Remember Jones. The genre-bending, landmark musical by John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask tells the story of one of the most unique characters to ever hit the stage.

Wednesday, June 18 - Soul Project NOLA Brings New Orleans Musical Flavor to Annual New Jersey Tour. From June 18-25, 2025, Soul Project NOLA makes their way from New Orleans to New Jersey for their annual tour. The mini tour includes stops at venues that welcome the band back every year to the delight of their audiences, plus a first stop in Wayne, Pennsylvania at 118 North and a show in Atlantic City at Mardi Gras on The Boardwalk, a weekly summertime celebration of the musical legacy of New Orleans. The Atlantic City show features NJ favorites The Ocean Avenue Stompers and members of Dogs in a Pile.

Tuesday, June 24 - bergenPAC presents Lea Michele. (ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- After selling out her first announced date at Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) instantly, Broadway and TV star Lea Michele has added a second performance. She will now also appear on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 7:00pm.

Friday, June 27 - From Good Homes to Perform Benefit Show for The Growing Stage. (NETCONG, NJ) -- From Good Homes, the beloved NJ band known for their unique blend of rock, folk, and jam-band vibes, is appearing for a one-night-only event on Friday, June 27, 2025 at The Historic Palace Theatre in Netcong. The benefit is to support the mission of The Growing Stage – The Children's Theatre of New Jersey to bring the magic of the arts to young audiences. Showtime is 8:00pm

Friday, June 27 - The Morris Museum presents Back Deck 2025 Concert Series. Sunday, June 29 - Middletown Arts Center presents MAC Music Café on June 29th. (MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The Middletown Arts Center presents the MAC Music Café, a monthly showcase of the area's talented musicians on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. June's singer-songwriter lineup features Michael Askin, Jerry Smith, Debbie Gangemi and Tom Flynn. The concert will take place in the MAC Theater. Tuesday, June 24 - Music Under the Stars! New Jersey Symphony Performs at Ocean County College on June 24th. (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Foundation presents a concert by the New Jersey Symphony on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. This family-friendly program is open to the public, and admission and parking are free of charge. Showtime is 8:00pm. Note: the concert was originally scheduled to be outside, but has been moved indoors to the Health & Human Performance Center Gymnasium on the OCC campus due to the heat.

Wednesday, June 25 - Sounds of a Summer Night: Music, Nature, and Community in Concert at Reeves-Reed Arboretum. (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets to Reeves-Reed Arboretum and celebrate summer with their 2025 concert series, Sounds of a Summer Night! All performances will be held on select Wednesday evenings on the grounds of this non-profit public garden located in Summit.

Wednesday, June 25 - Ocean County Library presents RB Express. (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Slip into summer on a good note – actually, a concert full of good notes, sung by Ocean County's own RB Express. Wednesday, June 25 - Middlesex County hosts an Evening of Music with the New Jersey Symphony at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park. (SOUTH AMBOY, NJ) -- Experience the sounds of the New Jersey Symphony under the stars at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 6:00pm–9:30pm. This family-friendly event is open to the public.

Thursday, June 26 - "Tracks II: The Lost Albums" Advance Listening Session at Monmouth University. (WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- You can join the Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music for an advance listen to selections from Tracks II: The Lost Albums on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Lauren K. Woods Theatre. The session will be moderated and curated by radio personalities Tom Cunningham and Rich Russo. It is free and open to the public, but registration is required. The event is expected to last about 2 hours.

Friday, June 27 - Songwriters by the Sea comes to SOPAC with Vonda Shepard, Nicole Atkins, Jake Thistle, Joe D'Urso, and Joe Rapolla. (SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- Joe D'Urso and Joe Rapolla bring their Songwriters by the Sea series to the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 7:30pm. Friday, June 27 - 2025 Horizon Sounds of the City at NJPAC. (NEWARK, NJ) -- For almost 30 years, Horizon Sounds of the City has attracted thousands of fans to New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)'s Chambers Plaza for Newark's largest outdoor dance party. Each performance feels like a festival thanks to the weekly presence of food trucks, sponsor giveaways and resource tables run by healthcare organizations and Newark nonprofits.

Friday, June 27 - 2025 Rock, Ribs, and Ridges Festival to Take Place in Augusta June 27-29. (AUGUSTA, NJ) -- The Rock, Ribs, and Ridges Festival, a weekend of the best in southern/classic rock bands and finger-licking barbecue and fixin's, will take place June 27-29, 2025 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. Saturday, June 28 - Middlesex County's FolkLIVE: Gospel Music Festival Returns with Headliners Fred Hammond and Kierra Sheard. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- Get ready to experience an uplifting celebration of gospel music at Middlesex County’s second annual FolkLIVE: Gospel Music Festival, featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Fred Hammond and Grammy Award-nominated artist Kierra Sheard, along with a lineup of rising local talent on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Monument Square Park. The event runs from 2:00pm–6:00pm and takes place rain or shine.  Admission is free.

Sunday, June 29 - North to Shore Festival presents Gregory Porter at NJPAC. Sunday, June 29 - North to Shore Festival presents George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic with Special Guest Living Colour at Stone Pony Summer Stage. (ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Prudential North to Shore Festival is set to present a night of funk featuring George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, with special guest Living Colour, on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at The Stone Pony Summer Stage. Sunday, June 29 - I Heart Horror & Hotrods Ice Cream Monster Jamboree to Take Place June 29th. (SAYREVILLE, NJ) -- The I Heart Horror & Hotrods Ice Cream Monster Jamboree rolls into VFW Post 4699 in Sayreville on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 10:00am - 4:00pm — a spooky-cool mash-up of hotrods, horror, and hometown fun, all benefiting the Stars and Stripes Veterans Center of South Amboy. Arden Theatre Company to Close Out 2024-25 Season with "RENT". Paper Mill Playhouse presents Disney's "The Little Mermaid". (MILLBURN, NJ) -- Paper Mill Playhouse presents Disney's The Little Mermaid, from May 29 through June 29, 2025. The beloved musical is the final production of Paper Mill's 2024-2025 season. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman & Glenn Slater, and a book by Doug Wright, The Little Mermaid is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film produced by Howard Ashman & John Musker and written & directed by John Musker & Ron Clements.

Pig Iron Theatre Company presents World Premiere of "Franklin's Keys" - Sci-Fi Adventure weaving Philly history, science, discovery, and magic. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- The internationally acclaimed, award-winning Philadelphia- based physical theater company Pig Iron Theatre Company presents the world premiere of Franklin's Key, written by Dan Rothenberg and Robert Quillen Camp. This thrilling, magical, sci-fi theatrical adventure explores Benjamin Franklin's hidden discoveries in a parallel universe and runs from June 3-29, 2025 at Plays & Players Theatre.

Cape May Stage presents "Vanities". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents Vanities by Jack Heifner from June 4-29, 2025. This bittersweet comedy is an astute, snapshot-sharp chronicle of the lives of three Texas girls. The production is directed by Roy Steinberg.

Philadelphia Theatre Company presents "Small Ball". (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Philadelphia Theatre Company closes out their season with Small Ball from June 6-29, 2025 at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. Commissioned and co-produced by Daryl Morey, President of Basketball Operations for the Philadelphia 76ers, Small Ball is an off-beat and surreal musical about a professional basketball team, a mysterious new recruit, a tiny island nation, and the big questions that bounce between them.

Two River Theater presents "The Price" by Arthur Miller. (RED BANK, NJ) -- Two River Theater has announced the cast and creative team for The Price by Arthur Miller (Death of A Salesman, The Crucible), directed by Brandon J. Dirden (August Wilson's Radio Golf, Wine in the Wilderness). This American Classic will run in the Joan and Robert Rechnitz Theater, June 7-29, 2025. Click here for a review of the production.

Vanguard Theater presents "Hair". (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Vanguard Theater presents Hair, The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical from June 12-29, 2025. A celebration of the 1960s counterculture, Hair bursts onto the stage in all its barefoot, beaded, and bell-bottomed glory.

Classic American Tales presents "Tales at the Dormer House". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 12 through October 16, 2025, Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents "Tales at the Dormer House" in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories by American authors. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting. Otherwise, they will be inside. Cost is only $12.00, cash at the door, and guests at The Dormer House and children ages 12 and under are free.

Nutley Little Theatre presents "For Peter Pan On Her 70th Birthday". (NUTLEY, NJ) -- Nutley Little Theatre presents "For Peter Pan On Her 70th Birthday" by Sarah Ruhl weekends from June 13-28, 2025. When Ann thinks of her father, she immediately remembers playing Peter Pan in her hometown theater in Iowa, particularly when he used to bring her flowers after her performance.

Obvious Agency presents World Premiere of "Space Opera" - an interactive theatrical experience blending immersive role-playing, live performance, and collaborative storytelling. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Philadelphia-based and worker-owned Obvious Agency premieres its newest production, Space Opera, a "playable theater" and sci-fi/fantasy game for building empowered community. Middlesex County Plays-in-the-Park Unveils Lineup for 2025 Summer Season. (EDISON, NJ) -- Middlesex County's Plays-in-the-Park returns this summer to the Stephen J. Capestro Theatre located at Roosevelt Park, presenting three popular Broadway musicals: Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Rent, and Grease.

East Lynne Theater Company presents Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- The award-winning, Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) – now in its 45th year–will present its first show of the company's Mainstage Season, Ken Ludwig's "Dear Jack, Dear Louise," from June 19 to July 12, 2025 with a special performance to honor Veterans on June 27. The heartwarming love story features Liz Mattera, an East Lynne veteran, as Louise, and New York-based actor Xander Furman as Jack, with Mark Edward Lang (ELTC's "Possessing Harriet") directing and lush period costumes by NYC designer Travis Chinick.

Surflight Theatre presents "9 to 5, The Musical". (BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre is beyond thrilled to be staging the forever timeless 9 to 5, The Musical from June 18 to July 6, 2025. Based on the book by Patricia Resnick and the 1980 film by Colin Higgins, Kelli Barclay directs and choreographs this staged adaptation following three iconic older women who decide to stick it to their boss once pushed to their breaking points.

North Star Theater Company presents "Ride the Cyclone". (STOCKHOLM, NJ) -- North Star Theater Company presents Ride the Cyclone, the darkly comedic and heartfelt cult musical that asks: What would you do if you had one more chance at life? Shakespeare '70 presents Oscar Wilde's classic high society spoof "The Importance of Being Earnest". (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Oscar Wilde's farcical tale depicting the tangled affairs of two men-about-town leading double lives comes to the stage of Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre when Shakespeare '70 presents The Importance of Being Earnest, June 20-29, 2025.

Music Mountain Theatre presents the monster-hit musical "Young Frankenstein". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- From the creators of Broadway's record-breaking musical comedy sensation The Producers comes Young Frankenstein, the monster-hit musical based on the classic film comedy by Mel Brooks. Music Mountain Theatre presents the musical in a limited engagement of 11 weekend performances from June 20 through July 6, 2025.

New Jersey Performing Arts High School Makes History. (TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County Vocational Technical School's (OCVTS) Grunin Performing Arts Academy (GPAA) is thrilled to announce that its fall drama production, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, has been selected to perform at the International Thespian Festival, the world's largest celebration of high school theatre. This prestigious event will take place at Indiana University Bloomington from June 22-27, 2025.

"The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" Returns to NYC for an Off-Broadway Run at The Gene Frankel Theatre. The Theater Project Jr. presents Broadway Jukebox. (CRANFORD, NJ) -- The Theater Project will give its regards to the Great White Way when it presents Broadway Jukebox at the Jardine Academy June 28-29, 2025. This year's show will star eight alumni of Theater Project Jr, a summer program for teenagers. In Broadway Jukebox, they reunite as young adults to create a cabaret of songs for family, friends, and The Theater Project community.

River Union Stage Offers a Look at the Final Development Step of "Paper Birds" on Sunday. (MILFORD, NJ) -- River Union Stage presents a look at the final development stage of Paper Birds by Hunterdon County resident Robert Miller II on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at The Vault. Saturday, June 28 - NJPAC presents Comedian Josh Johnson. (NEWARK, NJ) -- In response to overwhelming demand, an additional show has been scheduled for Josh Johnson. Prepare for an evening filled with laughter and entertainment as one of the most sought-after comedians of the year, Josh Johnson, graces the stage for The Flowers Tour at NJPAC on Saturday, June 28, 2025. Wednesday, June 25 - Brookdale to Host Inaugural "Breaking In" Lecture Featuring Batman Producer Michael Uslan. (LINCROFT, NJ) -- The New Jersey Film Academy will launch its first-ever "Breaking In" Film Industry Lecture Series with a special event featuring Michael Uslan, the visionary Executive Producer behind the Batman film franchise. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the Brookdale Performing Arts Center on the Lincroft campus and begins at 6:30pm.

Saturday, June 28 - "The Ladder" to Have East Coast Premiere at Golden Door International Film Festival on Saturday. (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Fresh off multiple festival wins across the country, the critically acclaimed, Alaskan sci-fi drama The Ladder will have its East Coast premiere this Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the Golden Door International Film Festival in Jersey City. Writer-director Emilio Miguel Torres in attendance.

Sunday, June 29 - Yogi Berra Museum to Screen "Legends Remembered Live: A Tribute to Yogi Berra". 50th Monmouth County Fair to Take Place July 23-27

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Monmouth County Fair is marking its 50th anniversary with opening night hot air balloon rides and a spectacular firework display (both are weather permitting). Held at East Freehold Showgrounds, Kozloski Road, Freehold, this year's event runs Wednesday-Sunday, July 23-27. Hours are 4:00pm-11:00pm Wednesday-Friday, July 23-25; 11:00am-11:00pm on Saturday, July 26; and 11:00am-6:00pm on Sunday, July 27.

Mercer County 4-H Fair to Take Place July 26-27

(HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Mercer County Executive Dan Benson and Mercer County 4-H invite residents to showcase their creative talents and skills at the 106th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair! The Fair is an inspirational community event, celebrating agriculture, innovation, and the talent of Mercer County residents. The fair takes place Saturday, July 26 from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Admission and parking are free to all attendees.

Creativity Deep Dive: Class for Adults at Vivid Stage

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit, is offering a new creative class especially for adults over the last weekend in July. Creativity Deep Dive, taught by professor and playwright Phoebe Farber, is an opportunity for grown-ups to have the fun of exploring their own imaginations and creative potential. The class is offered from 10:00am-2:00pm on July 26 and 27; lunch will be provided.

Ready, Set, Eat - Monmouth County Fair's Pie-Eating Contest

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Taste some old-fashioned fun during the pie-eating contest held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the 50th Annual Monmouth County Fair. This fun and delicious tradition will once again use pies donated by Wemrock Orchards. Children age 12 and under will compete at 12:30pm and ages 13 and up at 12:45pm. On-site registration for both contests begins at 11:00am at the Main Stage. All participants receive a t-shirt to wear during the competition. Winners take home a trophy.
