
(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ) -- The 2026 Middlesex County grant cycle begins this summer with funding opportunities for municipalities and local nonprofit organizations in support of arts, history, and folklife programming and facilities in Middlesex County. These grants are offered by the Arts Institute of Middlesex County and the Board of County Commissioners to be used for Arts, History, Historic Preservation, and Capital projects. Projects must serve the public and take place in Middlesex County.
To answer any questions and help guide all current, former, and new applicants through Middlesex County’s grant program, the Arts Institute of Middlesex County will offer both in-person and virtual grant writing workshops and appointments from June through August. Attendance at a grant writing workshop will only be mandatory for new applicants or applicants who have not applied in the last three grant cycles.

The first workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at 1:00pm via Zoom. The schedule for the other Grants workshops is as follows:
* Thursday, July 10 at 10:00am - East Jersey Old Town Village, Piscataway, NJ.
* Tuesday, July 22 at 2:00pm - The Lodge in Thompson Park, Jamesburg, NJ.
* Thursday, August 7 at 6:00pm - via Zoom.
Here are some deadlines grant applicants should be aware of:
* Tuesday, August 19, 2025: Declarations of Intent are due
* Tuesday, September 16, 2025: Grant applications are due
