 New Jersey Ballet to present "LEGACY & VISION" and the World Premiere of Harrison Ball's "New Ancient Strings" at NJPAC. (NEWARK, NJ) -- With its 66-year legacy of excellence, the New Jersey Ballet under the extraordinary vision of the Company's Artistic Director Maria Kowroski, returns to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for a weekend performance series, Friday-Saturday, April 24-25, 2025 at 7:30pm. The exciting new program LEGACY & VISION centers around Twyla Tharp's Nine Sinatra Songs and a world premiere by Harrison Ball.

Thursday, April 24 - Grammy Award Winners and Jazz Icons the Yellowjackets Come to Bell Theater. (HOLMDEL, NJ) -- Celebrate Jazz Appreciation month with the Yellowjackets, which Jazz Times describes as an "electric-acoustic outfit whose smart, often challenging and unpredictable compositions draw from fusion, post-bop and contemporary jazz." These jazz icons are headed to Bell Theater at Bell Works in Holmdel on Thursday, April 24, 2025.

Friday, April 25 - Kean Stage presents Michael Feinstein's "Because of You" - Tribute to Tony Bennett. (HILLSIDE, NJ) -- Kean Stage presents Michael Feinstein in Because of You My Tribute to Tony Bennett, featuring the Carnegie Hall Ensemble, will close Kean Stage's 2024-2025 season. The concert event will be presented on Friday, April 25, 2025 at Enlow Recital Hall (215 North Avenue) in Hillside. Showtime is 7:30pm. This is the second time Michael Feinstein has performed at Enlow Recital Hall. He performed the inaugural concert for the venue on October 1, 2009.

Ocean County College Repertory Theatre presents "Deathtrap". Vivid Stage to present Gemstones Episode 6. (SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center (120 Morris Avenue) in Summit, is celebrating its 30th Anniversary season, marking decades of bringing contemporary theatre to audiences in the state of New Jersey. Coming up is the sixth episode of the original series, Gemstones, by Phoebe Farber. Episode 6 runs Saturday, April 26 at 8:00pm and Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2:00pm.

Saturday, April 26 - Split Level Concerts presents Rod Picott and Anya Hinkle at Jersey Shore Arts Center. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents two incredible female artists: Melissa Etheridge and Joss Stone on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 7:30pm. Melissa Etheridge is known as one the greatest American rockers of all time while Paste said GRAMMY® winner Joss Stone is "a genuine article of soul music".

Thursday, April 24 - The Newton Theatre presents Easton Corbin. (NEWTON, NJ) -- Country music artist Easton Corbin will perform at The Newton Theatre on Thurday, April 24, 2025 at 8:00pm. Easton has been gracing stages with his memorable baritone and unique blend of traditional and modern country music for more than a decade.

Thursday, April 24 - Get the Led Out to Play Three Nights at Scottish Rite Auditorium. (COLLINGSWOOD, NJ) -- Get the Led Out (GTLO) takes over the Scottish Rite Auditorium for shows April 24-26, 2025 at 8:00pm each night. From the bombastic and epic to the folky and mystical, GTLO has captured the essence of the recorded music of Led Zeppelin and brought it to the concert stage. Bristol Riverside Theatre presents "In The Heights" by Lin-Manuel Miranda. (PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- The electrifying rhythms of Washington Heights pulse through Bristol Riverside Theatre (BRT) as Lin-Manuel Miranda's groundbreaking musical, a genre-bending blend of hip-hop, salsa, merengue, and soul, In the Heights, takes the stage March 25 through April 27, 2025. BRT's production is directed by the visionary Carlos Armesto, returning to BRT following his sensory-driven production Odd Man Out in 2023. This season, Armesto brings the beloved hit musical set on the vibrant streets of New York to the stage. Two River Theater presents "¡VOS!". NJ Rep presents "Comfort" by Neil LaBute. (LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) continues its 28th season with Neil LaBute's Comfort, directed by Evan Bergman. The production runs from April 17 to May 11, 2025, with opening on April 19, 2025, at NJ Rep's intimate theater in Long Branch. The new play follows the complicated, love-hate relationship between a mother and son as they barrel towards the unknown, battling over ownership of a treasured manuscript.

Music Mountain Theatre presents "POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive". (LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Music Mountain Theatre presents POTUS: Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive weekends from April 18 through May 4, 2025. The play by Selina Fillinger is about a derogatory comment, a summit gone awry, an anal abscess - it's a bad day at the White House.

Centenary Stage Company's NEXTStage Repertory presents "Carrie: The Musical". (HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's NEXTStage Repertory will end their 2025 season with Carrie: The Musical from April 24 through May 4, 2025. With book by Lawrence D. Cohen (screenwriter of the classic 1976 film), lyrics by Dean Pitchford, and music by Michael Gore, Carrie: the Musical, brings Stephen King's novel to the stage.

MCCC Theatre and Dance Students present the Musical Comedy "Anything Goes". The museum will feature its full 300+ piece permanent collection along with its noted The Phantom of the Opera temporary exhibition and will be open for the event from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The museum is honored to be the only fine arts organization in Sussex County to take part in this state-wide tour of museums and galleries.
