The Barn Theatre presents "Of Mice and Men"

(MONTVILLE, NJ) -- The Barn Theatre presents Of Mice and Men from weekends from March 14-30, 2025. This is a stage adaptation of the 1937 novel by American author John Steinbeck. The production is directed by Mark Phelan.

The play narrates the experiences of George Milton and Lennie Small, two displaced migrant ranch workers who move from place to place in California in search of new job opportunities during the Great Depression in the United States.

The cast includes Mike Alexander (Carlson), Brad Bebout (Candy), Jason Benjamin (Slim), Sydney Blanchard (Curley’s Wife), Bradley Carrington (George), Kris Estrada (Whit), Matthew Gamerdinger (Curley), Eric Heiberg (The Boss), Ian Kenny (Lennie), Ron Richardson (Crooks), and Charlie the Dog (Candy’s Dog).

Performances take place Friday, March 14 at 8:00pm; Saturday, March 15 at 2:00pm; Sunday, March 16 at 2:00pm; Friday, March 21 at 8:00pm; Saturday, March 22 at 8:00pm; Sunday, March 23 at 2:00pm; Friday, March 28 at 8:00pm; Saturday, March 29 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, March 30 at 2:00pm.  Tickets are available for purchase online. The Barn Theatre is located at 32 Skyline Drive in Montville, New Jersey.
