Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents "Godspell"

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- The Brookdale Performing Arts Center presents Godspell, directed by John Bukovec, across three weekends from April 4-19, 2025. This high-energy, uplifting musical promises to captivate audiences with a modern-day celebration of love, community, and joy. Godspell brings the teachings of Jesus to life in a contemporary urban setting through a vibrant blend of music, dance, and storytelling.

Featuring unforgettable songs like "Day by Day" and "Prepare Ye," this dynamic and inspiring production will engage and entertain audiences of all ages, leaving them with a renewed sense of hope and happiness. It is an extraordinary theatrical experience that shouldn’t be missed.

The performance schedule for Godspell includes the following dates: Friday, April 4 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 5 at 8:00pm; Sunday, April 6 at 2:00pm; Friday, April 11 at 8:00pm; Saturday, April 12 at 8:00pm; Sunday, April 13 at 2:00pm (Senior and Veteran Sunday); Friday, April 18 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, April 19 at 8:00pm. Tickets are available for general admission at $20 plus service fees, with a discounted rate of $15 plus service fees for seniors and veterans on Sunday, April 13 (ages 62+ and veterans). Tickets are available for purchase online. Brookdale Performing Arts Center is located at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft, New Jersey.

"RIFT" Returns To Luna For Two Nights Only Before International Debut At Edinburgh's Traverse Theatre

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Luna Stage's commissioned World Premiere play RIFT is headed to the Edinburgh Fringe for a four-week run at Traverse Theatre this August. On July 18-19, 2025 at 8:00pm each night, the powerful and timely new play returns to Luna for two benefit performances to support the company's travel to Scotland.

(WEST ORANGE, NJ) -- Pleasant Valley Productions (PVP) is presenting Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's iconic rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar at the Oscar Schindler Performing Arts Center (OSPAC). The production runs July 11-12 and July 17-19, 2025. This groundbreaking musical, which revolutionized the world of theatre, tells the story of the final week of Jesus' life through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Featuring a book by Greg Garcia and Mike O'Malley and music and lyrics by Jimmy Buffett, this play combines tropical vibes and feel-good humor with a collection of the singer-songwriter’s most beloved hits.
