Thanks to a cooperative Mother Nature, this is one of the earliest starts to the winter season in years for the resort, which has also invested significantly in upgrading its snowmaking capabilities with a new, state-of-the-art, $5 million fully automated system. Lifts will begin running at 9:00am with the last chair at 9:00pm.
On Saturday, December 7, the resort will be open with top-to-bottom terrain at both Vernon and South Peaks serviced by the Cabriolet Gondola and the South Peak Express Quad. All skier services will be open including rentals, lessons and restaurants.
