Vanguard Theater presents "Cordially, Indisposed"

originally published: 09/27/2024

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Vanguard Theater presents Cordially, Indisposed by Doriane Swain across two weekends (October 4-5 and October 11-13, 2024). Come witness the remarkable fusion of science, alchemy, love, and madness. There will be laughter. There will be blood. There might be love... Or at least cake.

The Maker is determined to start a family with the right partner, which through AI, she has almost successfully created - but in order for lifeforce activation to work, she must harvest the best attributes from the worst specimens—her exes. As she extracts her way to finish her Masterpiece, she must relive the trials and trauma that led her to be resolutely indisposed.

The cast features Doriane Swain, Tiffany Terrell, and Nick Young.  Jared Haas directs, coordinated by Jeff Parsons.

Performances take place Friday, October 4 at 8:00pm; Saturday, October 5 at 8:00pm; Friday, October 11 at 8:00pm; Saturday, October 12 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, October 13 at 2:00pm.  Tickets are available for purchase online.  Vanguard Theater is located at 180 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey.
