Bordentown Regional High School presents "The Witch's Princess"

originally published: 09/25/2024

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- The comedic adventure The Witch’s Princess by Don Zolidis will be presented October 25-26, 2024 at the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. This play will be performed by the award-winning theatre students of Bordentown Regional High School. Showtime is 7:30pm each night.

A rollicking and wild quest of magic and adventure, The Witch’s Princess is the tale of a cursed kingdom where the only way to lift the curse is to slay the witch. When the king offers his daughter’s hand in marriage to the knight who can slay the evil bog witch, there’s only one thing for the princess to do: Sneak out of the castle and kill the witch herself to avoid marriage. But she’s not dumb and she’s not going alone, because she’s assembling a crack crew of the deadliest monsters in myth and legend to help. But she discovers the monsters aren’t what they seem, and neither is the witch, or the curse, or the kingdom. In the tradition of the much loved film The Princess Bride, the play The Witch’s Princess is a comedic fairy tale with a twist.

Featured in the cast are Bordentown Regional High School seniors Candise Davis, Ryan Haje, John Heitzenroeder, Kayla Stubenazy-Rose, Genevieve Schenone, juniors Zoe Amato, Brynn Bowyer (2024 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award winner,  Outstanding Leading Actress in a Musical) , Sika Brenya, Rylie Evans, Alexa House, Ceilidh Manigrasso, Rylan Phillips, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom (2024 Greater Philadelphia Cappie Award nominee, Outstanding Vocalist), Adam Pollard, River Skalski, Gracie Tyler, sophomores Angela Deleso, Austin Faison-West, Madelyn Jones, Adam Palmer, and freshman Persephone Borsuk.
