This is the bold musical comedy from the visionaries that rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q, and Spring Awakening. 4) Millville's Third Friday – a jubilant celebration of the arts - (MILLVILLE, NJ) -- On Friday, September 20, 2024, Millville is where art lovers need to be. Showcasing the arts on Third Fridays is a Millville tradition years in the making. The September event brings a rich offering of exhibitions and celebrations.

5) Arthouse Film Festival Returns to The Village at SOPAC - (SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- Arthouse Film Festival (AFF) will unspool for ten weeks beginning September 16th at The Village at SOPAC in South Orange. AFF is a curated series of the best soon-to-be-released movies from around the world, followed by conversations with filmmakers and actors. The festival runs until November 18, 2024.

6) AirFest 2024 takes place in Cape May August 29th to September 1st - (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- This year AirFest features all NEW AIRCRAFT, as well as a new format. AirFest will run Thursday, August 29 through Sundy, September 1, 2024 at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum and includes an F-16 flyover on Friday. As always, AirFest will feature amazing entertainment including live music by Animal House and Devlin, Ted Schwartz’s WWII radio show, food trucks, Beer & Wine Garden, and free caricatures and face painting.

7) Bergen County Players presents "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum" - (ORADELL, NJ) -- Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies,  takes humor back to its roots, combining the time-tested 2,000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville for an all-new production of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (his first Tony Award-winning musical)  and book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart, Forum kicks off BCP's 92nd season on Saturday, September 14 and will run through Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell.

9) 2024 We Can Survive Concert features Justin Timberlake, New Kids on the Block, and More - (NEWARK, NJ) -- Audacy announced the 2024 lineup for We Can Survive, the annual event supporting the Company's mental health initiative, I'm Listening. Superstar Justin Timberlake will be joined by mega boy band New Kids On The Block, singer-songwriter Tate McRae, multi-instrumentalist Benson Boone, R&B crooner Khalid and emerging artist Isabel LaRosa at Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday, September 28. Hosted by NEW 102.7 FM (WNEW-FM), the event exemplifies music's power to connect communities and promotes having more mental health conversations.

10) Montclair Art Museum Presents the 2024 New Jersey Arts Annual: Exploring Our Connections – A Bold Celebration of Identity, Community, and Artistic Excellence - (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- The Montclair Art Museum (MAM) is thrilled to announce the opening of the 2024 New Jersey Arts Annual: Exploring Our Connections, a prominent exhibition showcasing contemporary art from across the Garden State. 11) NJPAC Announces Lineup for 2024 Sounds of the City FREE Concerts - (NEWARK, NJ) -- Experience an amazing lineup of diverse artists under the stars this summer at New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) for exciting, FREE concerts during the Horizon Sounds of the City series every Thursday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The series unites Newark's cultural diversity by bringing together residents, workers, and visitors for unforgettable evenings of great music, food, and fun. This year's  lineup includes Brazilian percussionist Cyro Baptista, Afrobeat singer and artist Kofi Kinaata, New Orleans funk band Galactic f. Jelly Joseph, rap icon KRS-One, and New Orleans bounce singer Big Freedia. Some performances will also showcase a guest poet from Dodge Poetry, as well as local opening talent and NJPAC's student performers.

13) The Broadway Theatre of Pitman presents "9 To 5 The Musical" - (PITMAN, NJ) -- The Broadway Theatre of Pitman presents 9 To 5 The Musical weekends throughout September 2024. Based on the seminal 1980 hit movie, it features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton and book by Patricia Resnick. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.

14) Sum 41's Deryck Whibley Announces Book Tour for Memoir "Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell" - (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Deryck Whibley of the iconic Grammy-nominated rock band Sum 41 is going on a U.S. book tour to support his new memoir, Walking Disaster: My Life Through Heaven and Hell, out October 8, 2024. The tour comes to White Eagle Hall in Jersey City on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The moderator will be Kevan Kenney, MTV and Amazon Music On-Air Host.

15) SoulShine LIVE! in Seaside Heights - Fans of Southern rock ready themselves this Thursday, August 15, 2024 evening on the beach in Seaside Heights, NJ for a revival of music by The Allman Brothers Band performed by SoulShine. SoulShine is a New York-based ensemble consisting of guitarists Geoff Hartwell and Norm Dodge, keyboardist Chris Burke, bassist Big Bob Goetz, and drummers Rob Wallis and Ron Negro.

The decision comes in response to the unprecedented freeze events that impacted vineyards across New Jersey during April 2026.
