Black Box Studios presents "Keith Moon: The Real Me"

(TEANECK, NJ) -- Black Box Studios presents a special one night only performance of Keith Moon: The Real Me, the story of the legendary drummer of The Who, on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Debonair Music Hall.  Doors open at 6:30; showtime is 7:30pm.

“Moon the Loon” still stands as the pinnacle of rock-star extremism—both in life and music.  Keith Moon: The Real Me explodes onto the stage with all the turmoil and excitement of the wildest drummer in rock and roll. In this 90-minute one-man show, many of The Who’s greatest hits are played with live drumming – Keith Moon style. The play explores the mind of Keith Moon, as he attempts to save himself from the unbearable burden of living up (or down) to his self-created legend and his struggle to escape the ever-looming rock and roll crash landing.

“Visceral, vital and vicious…unforgettable…hypnotic, melodic and compelling... leaves the audience in awe of Moon’s skill…a must see. Not many shows bring people to their feet in sheer joy…but this show does just that. Simply brilliant.” -- Edinburgh 2019 Onstage Review

Tickets are $25 in advance (or $30 at the door) and are available for purchase online. Debonair Music Hall is located at 1409 Queen Anne Road in Teaneck, New Jersey.
