(RED BANK, NJ) -- The award-winning Monmouth Civic Chorus presented Rejoice Greatly: A Celebratory Messiah and More on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. This year’s program featured favorite selections from Handel's Messiah, masterfully intertwined with Artistic Director Dr. Ryan James Brandau's stirring original settings of holiday classics like O Holy Night, I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day, and Auld Lang Syne. Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton announces five Hodder Fellows for 2024-2025
 

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton University's Lewis Center for the Arts has announced the selection of five Mary Mackall Gwinn Hodder Fellows for the 2024-25 academic year. This year's recipients include percussionist Britton-René Collins, visual artist Abigail DeVille, theater artist Ayesha Jordan, writer Suji Kwock Kim, and choreographer Nami Yamamoto.

Brookdale Community College Launches "Fundamentals of Finance" Course With a Bloomberg Certification Pathway
 

Brookdale Community College is excited to announce the addition of a new course to its curriculum, the Fundamentals of Finance that offers students the opportunity to earn the Bloomberg certification of Basic Specialist. This three-credit introductory course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the financial system while equipping students with hands-on skills through creating and managing an investment portfolio.

New Jersey State Council on the Arts Approves Creative Aging Grants, Announces Update to Longstanding Arts Education Program
 

(TRENTON, NJ) -- The New Jersey State Council on the Arts held a public meeting on December 19, 2023, during which 30 New Jersey organizations received grants through the Council's Creative Aging Initiative grant program. This investment is the key component of the Council's focus on lifelong learning, providing $10,000 grants to arts organizations, libraries, veterans homes, and senior and community centers to cover costs for artist-led residencies for New Jersey adults aged 55 and over.
