Meghan Parnell and Dave Barnes are the driving force behind Bywater Call, a powerhouse 7-piece Southern Soul, Roots Rock band out of Toronto, Canada.

Sunday, December 10 - Jolly Birthday Tribute & Holiday Event Spotlights Frank Sinatra!. (AVON-BY-THE-SEA, NJ) -- A "Jolly Sinatra Birthday Tribute" event, presented by Karen Morris of Sand Castle Communications LLC, will honor the birthday and career of Frank Sinatra, with a dash of joyous holiday merriment. (NEWARK, NJ) -- Following a two-night sold-out run at Yankee Stadium where the Jonas Brothers performed for over 85,000 fans, THE TOUR adds a fifth hometown show for the band - a second night at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, on December 7.

Thursday, December 7 - East Lynne Theater Company hosts "Lennie's Christmas Extravaganza". (CAPE MAY, NJ) -- Get in the holiday spirit with New York City piano bar favorite Lennie McKenzie, as he brings his "Christmas Cabaret" show back to East Lynne Theater Company for three nights - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 7-9, 2023.

Friday, December 8 - NBPAC presents Soultown to Motown: Holiday Show!. (NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) presents Soultown to Motown: Holiday Show! on December 8, 2023 at 8:00pm. Under the tutelage of legendary Jersey Shore saxophonist Screamin' Steve Barlotta, The Sensational Soul Cruisers bring to you their Soultown to Motown Holiday Show. This concert highlights iconic Classic Soul & Motown music from the birth of Motown in 1960 to the release of Michael Jackson’s all-time-selling Thriller Album in 1983. The record breaking recording artist first came into the public's eye with her appearance on NBC's America's Got Talent.

Friday, December 8 - A Choral Kind of Weekend in Morristown to Get You Into The Holiday Spirit. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Kick off the holidays with a weekend of seasonal music with some of New Jersey's top choral arts organizations beginning with the Harmonium Choral Society, a 100-voice chorus led by Dr. Anne Matlack on Friday, December 8 at 7:30pm at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown. Following Harmonium will be The Somerset Hills Chorus and the Chancel Choir of the Presbyterian Church in Morristown conducted by Stephen Sands and Matthew Webb on Saturday, December 9 at 7:00pm also at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown. Saturday, December 9 - The Wellmont Theatre presents Tab Benoit and The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Acclaimed Louisiana Bayou blues guitarist Tab Benoit continues his year-long 2023 Tour, performing locally at The Wellmont Theater on Saturday, December 9 at 8:00pm. Dirty Dozen Brass Band will open the night. Benoit is a Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and guitarist who has built a remarkable 30+ year career on the foundation of his gritty and soulful Delta swamp blues, acquiring a devoted legion of fans along the way.

Sunday, December 10 - NJPAC presents Patti LaBelle on December 10th. (NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) welcomes music icon Patti LaBelle to Newark, New Jersey on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 7:00pm. One of contemporary music's living legends, LaBelle, is a Grammy Award winning American singer, author and actress who has spent over 50 years in the music industry.

Sunday, December 10 - Morris Choral Society to Celebrate 50th Anniversary. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Morris Choral Society (MCS) will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at 3:00pm with a concert at St. Peter's Episcopal Church (70 Maple Avenue) in Morristown. This season has Michael Shane Wittenburg returning as Music Director and Jennifer Yang continuing as pianist for the Chorus.

Sunday, December 10 - New Jersey Youth Symphony Presents Family-Friendly All That Jazz! Holiday Concert on December 10. (JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- The New Jersey Youth Symphony presents a family-friendly All that Jazz! Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Margaret Williams Theatre at New Jersey City University in Jersey City. On this enchanting music-filled journey, the award-winning NJYS Youth Symphony led by Helen H. Cha-Pyo will bring the magic of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite to life. Showtime is 3:00pm.

Sunday, December 10 - Royal Bopsters to Preview Some Songs from New Album at December Jersey Jazz LIVE! in Madison. (MADISON, NJ) -- What do the Gershwins' "But Not For Me", Harold Arlen's "My Shining Hour", and Tadd Dameron's "On a Misty Night" have in common? All three songs were on the Royal Bopsters' Motema Music album, Party of Four, which DownBeat Magazine's Allen Morrison called "an entertaining gem", giving it four stars.

Sunday, December 10 - The Morris Choral Society to Celebrate 50th Anniversary With Holiday Concert. (MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- The Morris Choral Society, under the direction of Michael Shane Wittenburg, celebrates the 50th anniversary of its first concert on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at St. Peter's Church in Morristown, the site of that initial performance. Beginning at 3:00pm, the program will feature the signature work of that auspicious day, the Magnificat by Antonio Vivaldi plus well known and not so well-known works of the season.

Monday, December 11 - Miwi La Lupa and James Hatem to Perform at The Exchange. (ROCKAWAY, NJ) -- Miwi La Lupa, known for his work with Bright Eyes and the Conor Oberst band with blues-rock artist James Hatem, who is returning home to Rockaway, has graced the stage with icons like The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, and Ricky Skaggs. The two are teaming up for an exciting 8-date Northeast tour this December. The tour comes to The Exchange in Rockaway on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 7:00pm.

An Interview with Tim Palmieri of Lotus

Lotus was founded between 1998-1999 at Goshen College in Goshen, IN. Now based out of Dever, Colorado and Philadelphia, PA primarily, Lotus continues to bloom as a premiere jamtronica band for over the past 25 years. In 2021, founding member and longtime guitarist, Micheal Rempel left Lotus ushering in new guitarist, Tim Palmieri.

Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Graham Nash

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Graham Nash, two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash, will perform at Count Basie Center for the Arts on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Nash will be joined on stage by Todd Caldwell (keyboards and vocals), Adam Minkoff (bass, drums, guitars and vocals) and Zach Djanikian (guitars, mandolin, drums and vocals), performing favorites from across his sixty-year career.
