(WOODBRIDGE, NJ) -- The Barron Arts Center hosts the “BAC Artist of the Year” Exhibit - Jules Weber: Color My World - from October 4-25, 2023. A self-taught artist with decades of experience, Jules Weber uses various palette knife techniques to layer oil paints on canvas to create rich, realistic and colorful scenes.

One major influence for his creations has been capturing past or present locations in NJ such as railroads, lighthouses and maritime activity along commercial waterways.  While Weber has captured varied seasonal images of New Jersey and Europe, he favors winter scenes for their solitude and serenity.  Many of his works are in private collections within the US & Europe and numerous paintings have been displayed at both solo and group exhibits.

There will be an Opening Reception on October 4, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Admission is free.

Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 11:00am-4:00pm; Saturdays & Sundays from 2:00pm-4:00pm; Closed Holidays. The Barron Arts Center is located at 582 Rahway Avenue in Woodbridge, NJ.

This exhibit is sponsored by The Woodbridge Township Cultural Arts Commission chaired by Dr. Dolores Capraro Gioffre with support from Mayor John E. McCormac.
