Emily Mann and Daniel Donskoy on "The Pianist" at George Street Playhouse The Pianist, a new play at the George Street Playhouse, strikes deep personal chords with the playwright and the actor in the title role.
Studio Players to Present "King Charles III" (UPPER MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- In 2015, playwright Mike Bartlett wrote of an imagined future where Queen Elizabeth dies and Prince Charles ascends the throne. Studio Players presents his play, King Charles III, across three weekends from October 6-21, 2023 at Studio Playhouse. The production is directed by Emily Miller.
"Sex Work/Sex Play" opens Off-Broadway (NEW YORK,NY) -- The new comedy Sex Work/Sex Play, from award-winning playwright and filmmaker Caytha Jentis opened to a sold out house September 13 at 28th Street Theatre. The Off-Broadway World Premiere runs until October 29, 2023 and is directed by Rosie Gunther. Produced by Emerging Artists Theatre, the play had a staged reading at the company's Spark Theatre Festival NYC last fall.
Aspire Performing Arts Company presents "Puffs" (MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story.
