NJ Rep Hosts Night Of Comedy

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Comedian Aaron Kominos-Smith (Inside Amy Schumer, Live at Gotham) brings New York City stand-up comedy to Long Branch on Monday, October 16 at 7:00pm. Aaron will be hosting the show and is excited to bring his friends to NJ Rep for an evening of laughs! Joining him are comedians Erin Maguire and Jon Firch.

Erin Maguire is a New York City based stand-up comic, actor, writer, podcast host, and all-around good time gal. She's been seen on Gotham Live, ESPN, and the Game Show Network. Erin has written for the Comedy Central Roast, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and created The Seinfeld Board Game and content for the Netflix board game with Spinmaster Games. She has been featured at the Woodstock Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy, Laugh Your Asheville Off, and the prestigious Lucille Ball Comedy Festival for the grand opening of the National Comedy Center.

Jon Fisch is one of only a handful of comedians who has appeared on both The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. You may recognize Jon from Comedy Central or NBC's Last Comic Standing 4 where he was the New York City Capital One Audience Favorite. Jon has performed at multiple comedy festivals including the HBO Comedy Arts Festival, the Great American Comedy Festival and Montreal's prestigious “Just for Laughs" Festival. Based in New York City, Jon can be seen regularly at the Comedy Cellar and Gotham Comedy Club.

New Jersey Repertory Company (NJRep) is located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, New Jersey. NJRep's mission is to develop and produce new plays and to make a lasting contribution to the American Stage. NJ Rep has produced over 150 plays of which 125 have been world premieres. The theater has the additional distinction of having had many of its plays produced by other theaters around the country totaling over 200 subsequent productions in the U.S. and overseas. In 2012 and 2018 NJ Rep was the recipient of a National Theater Company Grant from the American Theater Wing that sponsors the annual Tony Awards for Broadway in recognition of its contribution to the repertoire of the American Stage. In addition, the theater has presented over 400 developmental readings.
