!Vivir, Amar, y Pintar! Arts Festival to Take Place Saturday in Dover

(DOVER, NJ) -- The !Vivir, Amar, y Pintar! Arts Festival is set to take place on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Chestnut Street in Dover, NJ. This free public outdoor event features Artists & Vendor market; food trucks; live music & dancing; unveiling of new art asphalt mural; kids art activity; bouncy castles and stilt walkers.

Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of artists showcasing their talents, creating an immersive artistic atmosphere. From paintings to sculptures, there will be something to captivate everyone's artistic sensibilities. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with the artists, learn about their creative processes, and even purchase their works.

In addition to the art displays, the festival will host vendors and delicious food options will also be available from a selection of food trucks, ensuring a delightful gastronomic experience.

Live music performances curated by Idea Cultural will add a lively and melodious backdrop to the festival, further enhancing the festive ambiance. Attendees can expect an eclectic mix of musical genres, ensuring there is something for every taste. Performers include Tropy Band Orquesta and Terry Grande.

One of the highlights of the event will be the unveiling of Dover, NJ's first piece of public art, an asphalt mural on Chestnut Street. This significant addition to the town's artistic landscape will be a source of pride for the community and a testament to the power of public art in transforming urban spaces.

(HAMILTON, NJ) -- Explore the fleeting nature of time through murals, daily meditative practices and newly commissioned sculptures in "Shantell Martin: Past, Present, Future," on view from September 20, 2026-July 23, 2028 at Grounds For Sculpture (GFS). The immersive, site-specific installation will feature new work indoors and sculptures in the park's gardens.
