(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- State Theatre New Jersey presents Brit Floyd –50 Years of Dark Side on Thursday, August 17 at 8:00pm.Brit Floyd returns to the stage in 2023 to perform a brand-new production celebrating 50 years of the ground-breaking and iconic musical masterpiece The Dark Side of the Moon.The show will feature classic tracks from the album such as "Time," "Money," "Us and Them," and "The Great Gig in the Sky."

Sunday, August 20, 2023 - NJ Festival Orchestra to Present Outdoor Concert in Westfield on August 20. (WESTFIELD, NJ) -- The New Jersey Festival Orchestra is back on Sunday, August 20, 2023 with another outdoor concert in Westfield featuring music by Gershwin and Delius, and songs by Aaron Copland performed by NY Metropolitan Opera's renowned baritone Stephen Gaertner.

Wednesday, August 16, 2023 - Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band to Play Shows in Philly and NJ. (EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ) -- Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band have announced additional North American dates on their 2023 international tour in 18 cities, with newly-added shows beginning at Chicago's Wrigley Field on August 9 and running through December 8 at San Francisco's Chase Center. Multiple nights have been scheduled for Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park (August 16 and 18), New Jersey's MetLife Stadium (August 30 and September 1), Toronto's Scotiabank Arena (November 14 and 16) and Los Angeles' Kia Forum (December 4 and 6).

Wednesday, August 16, 2023 - Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Tinsley Ellis. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Acclaimed Georgia blues rocker, singer and songwriter Tinsley Ellis will give a rare live acoustic performance at The Lizzie Rose Music Room in Tuckerton on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 7:30pm. On his newly launched coast-to-coast tour entitled Tinsley Ellis - Acoustic Songs & Stories, Ellis plans to perform many of his most popular songs, plus Delta blues covers and classics by artists like Gregg Allman, Bob Dylan and Leo Kottke, on his 1937 National Steel and 1969 Martin D-35 guitars. Ellis weaves the music together with interesting, engaging and humorous stories from his over 40 years spent on stage, in motels and truck stops. Ellis' most recent Alligator Records release and 20th album is 2022's Devil May Care.

Thursday, August 17, 2023 - Slightly Stoopid and Sublime With Rome tour comes to Holmdel and Camden. San Diego, CA-based Slightly Stoopid and Sublime With Rome announced the first round of dates for their Summertime 2023 tour. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will hit outdoor amphitheaters and select festivals across the country. Joining Slightly Stoopid and Sublime With Rome are special guests Atmosphere and The Movement. Locally, the tour comes to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Thursday, August 17th and the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden on Sunday, August 20th.

Thursday, August 17, 2023 - Lizzie Rose Music Room presents The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 7:30pm. The band has built its reputation the long, slow, hard way. After 12 years of playing as many as 300 shows each year, Rev. Peyton, the world's foremost country blues finger-style picker, along with the biggest little band in the country has pieced together one of the most dedicated followings out there.

Thursday, August 17, 2023 - Axelrod Performing Arts Center presents the Laurel Canyon Band. (DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Axelrod Performing Arts Center presents the Laurel Canyon Band on Thursday, August 17 at 8:00pm. The Laurel Canyon Band is an acoustic tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, featuring recreations of their seminal works as well as songs from their early bands and their solo years.

Friday, August 18, 2023 - Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with The Woodstock Horns present "The Music Of The Band" in Tuckerton. (TUCKERTON, NJ) -- On Friday, August 18, 2023, Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with The Woodstock Horns will present "The Music of The Band" at the Lizzie Rose Music Room. For this special show, they will perform songs from repertoire of The Band, learned directly from The Band and songs Louie created with The Band including their comeback hit "Atlantic City," he collaborated with The Band for over fifteen years. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Friday, August 18, 2023 - Operallora to Present Puccini Double Bill at Kelsey Theatre. (WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre and Operallora has announced a double bill of Puccini's Il Tabarro and Suor Angelica, to be presented August 18 and August 20 in West Windsor.

Friday, August 18, 2023 - Busy Weekend For The Wag, With Shows Across The State. Fans of The Wag have four chances to see them this weekend with shows in Atlantic Highlands, Wharton Borough, Edison, and Red Bank. This is a great opportunity to see the band play songs from their latest album, Blue Bottles and Copper Coins, or catch them with their popular tribute to The Beatles.

Saturday, August 19, 2023 - Violinist to Bring "The Judy Kang Experience" to NY and NJ this summer. (PRINCETON, NJ) -- Canadian-born violinist and worldwide phenom Judy Kang will be playing with 'The Judy Kang Experience' at festivals and shows across New York and New Jersey this summer, including a performance in Princeton on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Kang will be accompanied by Dan Kassel on cello and Jake Valois on drums and guitar. The performances will include music from Lady Gaga to Metallica and feature Kang’s innovative cutting-edge style redefining expectations of a violin in concert.

Saturday, August 19, 2023 - Eddie Bruce to celebrate the Music of Anthony Newley at Gateway Playhouse. (SOMERS POINT, NJ) -- On Saturday, August 19, 2023, acclaimed cabaret singer and bandleader Eddie Bruce will celebrate the music of Anthony Newley at the Gateway Playhouse. The show includes songs from Broadway to Willie Wonka. Tickets are $45. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Sunday, August 20, 2023 - Black Flag Brings US Tour to Sherman Theater. (STROUDSBURG, PA) -- One of the most ground-breaking and iconic hardcore punk bands of all time, Black Flag, have announced that they'll be hitting the road for their My War Tour 2023, stopping at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, PA on Sunday, August 20, 2023. They will perform the My War album in full for their first set and The Best Of in the second set. Doors are at 6:00pm, showtime is 7:00pm.
