(NEW HOPE, NJ) -- The Board of New Hope Arts Center is proud to announce a significant milestone of $150k in successful fundraising during the organization's weeklong celebratory reopening and ticketed events.  The institution officially reopened doors on June 6th, starting with the imaginatively planned "Beyond the Blueprint" Grand Reopening Celebration, followed by a "Members Only Celebration" on June 10th.

The ticketed events attracted over 200 supporters and artists who donated dollars, professional or volunteer time, or desirable auction items, garnering the organization an additional $150,000.00 approximately in much-needed funds.  The newly raised funds help close the organization's gap towards the $1.25-million-dollar Elevate the Arts campaign goal,  The Elevate the Arts campaign has successfully enhanced audience accessibility through new ADA-compliant renovations, with the remaining funds needed to enrich and expand programming capacities.  New Hope Arts is thankful for the generous, ongoing support of donors, Board members, staff, and dedicated volunteers.

Carol Cruickshanks, New Hope Arts Executive Director, remarked: "Always knowing we are in an extraordinary community, never did I realize this magnitude of success was possible; the level of dedication and generosity from our community, staff, and Board has been overwhelming and has truly shaped a whole new dream for so many of us in the arts community and New Hope."

Newly renovated and reopened in June 2023.  New Hope Arts is now an ADA compliant building and has new, state-of-the-art restorations.  New Hope Arts (NHA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to furthering New Hope's heritage as a center for art and artists. NHA serves an integral role in showcasing contemporary artists' work within New Hope and Lambertville and throughout the Delaware Valley. New Hope Arts supports artists by fostering opportunities, providing space to create, collaborate, and present while offering residents and visitors access to a vibrant array of visual, performing, and literary arts. NHA further provides a welcoming forum to emerging artists who would otherwise not have access to a professional exhibition setting while introducing new audiences to their work.  Annually, NHA organizes significant exhibitions, including sculpture, wood, painting, photography, fine artisan crafts, and new media installations.
