One Full Day, Two Spectacular Events In Long Valley: From Family Fun To A Sunset Soirée

(LONG VALLEY, NJ) -- Norwescap’s third annual NorwesFest on Saturday, June 24 will be, in baseball terminology, a day-night doubleheader! 

Summer is just around the corner, and with that comes the return of NorwesFest at Ort Farms in Long Valley. Bigger and better than ever, this unique event offers something for everyone. Whether it’s a delightful day on the farm with your family, or an elegant night out under the stars with your spouse, partner, or friends – you’ll find what you’re looking for at NorwesFest. The event is a major fundraiser for the Warren County based non-profit, Norwescap, which offers a variety of services to residents of the Greater Northwest NJ area.

Family Fun Day June 24 from  11:00am – 2:30pm  – Families with children of all ages are welcome! Tickets: $10 per person (adult or child), Children under 2 are free. Want to get out with the family to spend the day at one of New Jersey’s best farms? NorwesFest’s Family Fun Day offers an experience you and the kids won’t forget! The day will be packed with games and activities, including pony rides, hay rides, carnival games, sports, face painting, treasure hunts, pick-your-own, musical entertainment by The Honky-Tonk Scoundrels, and more! Snacks and soft drinks are included. Adults can enjoy wine and beer tastings. Lunch and treats will be available for purchase from Why Not Burgerz, RainBao, and Waffle Cabin food trucks.

And then, geared towards adults…

Sunset Soirée June 24 from 5:30pm – 9:00pm– A special evening out! Benefit Tickets: $150 per seat, Table of 8: $1,200. Norwescap’s signature fundraiser is far from your typical gala. The Sunset Soirée offers everything you can imagine for a perfect summer night out – a gourmet farm-to-table dinner by Food Company Catering, local brews, fine wines, craft cocktails, lawn games, and The SummerSwing Orchestra with vocalist Kevin J. Gray, a 17-piece jazz/swing band that will have you up and dancing – all in a gorgeous outdoor space with the sun setting over the mountains as the evening’s backdrop.

In support of a great cause, every dollar raised from NorwesFest will sustain Norwescap’s mission to create opportunities and change lives for more than 30,000 New Jerseyans each year. Your support of NorwesFest 2023 helps our neighbors with their most urgent needs (food and housing, for instance) and supports programs that help them work towards a future where they and their families can not only survive, but thrive.

Originally established in 1965, Norwescap has evolved into a comprehensive nonprofit organization providing services to over 30,000 individuals in New Jersey annually. The organization offers a broad array of services that support and empower people with low to moderate income, helping them move away from the crisis of poverty and towards a future where they can thrive.
