(PHILADELPHIA, PA) -- Following stops in New York City, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver and Fort Lauderdale, Pixar Putt is coming to Philadelphia to take movie fans to infinity and beyond! The ultimate pop-up, open-air mini-golf experience will take over the Great Plaza at Penn's Landing (101 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd.) starting with previews on July 1st and the official grand opening on July 6th through the final day on October 1, 2023.

The new summertime attraction - in partnership with the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation - will operate seven days a week, Monday to Friday from 12:00pm to 10:00pm (last entry at 8:30pm) and Saturday-Sunday from Noon to 10:00pm (last entry at 8:30pm). Pixar Putt After Dark will feature evening sessions for guests 18+ and take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. Pixar Putt will also be available for rent for private groups and corporate buy-outs. For tickets and more information, visit https://pixarputt.com/ and follow @pixarputt on Instagram and social media.

“Rockefeller Studios brought Pixar Putt to the United States to allow Pixar fans an interactive way to experience their favorite movies, including Toy Story, Up, Soul, and last year’s hit movie, Turning Red,” said Pixar Putt Producer Chad Larabee. “The course is designed for kids ages 4-104 to play, which makes us a perfect addition to Summer Fest at Penn’s Landing. A special thank you to the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation for partnering with us on our Philadelphia debut!"

Larabee added, "We strive to bring Pixar Putt to iconic locations in the country’s greatest cities, which makes Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia a perfect fit,” “Our guests will be able to interact with their favorite Pixar characters with the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and the beautiful Delaware River as its backdrop."

"The Delaware River Waterfront Corporation is excited to host Pixar Putt at Penn’s Landing for their Mid-Atlantic debut. This will be an incredible addition to Summer on the Delaware River Waterfront in Philadelphia," said Delaware River Waterfront Corporation President Joseph Forkin. "Come on down to play Pixar Putt, grab a bite to eat from some of the incredible culinary offerings along the Waterfront, take a spin on the Ferris Wheel or relax on the hammocks at Spruce Street Harbor Park, all while taking in spectacular views of the Ben Franklin Bridge."

Pixar Putt, co-presented by Rockefeller Studios and TEG Life Like Touring, is made up of 18 fun, interactive, Instagramable holes inspired by the stories, characters, and icons from some of Disney and Pixar's most beloved films, including Toy Story, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, Coco, A Bug's Life, Wall-E, Soul and Inside Out.  The Philadelphia course will also mark the North American premiere of holes inspired by Turning Red, Lightyear, and a special surprise to be announced soon.

Pixar Putt invites guests to putt through the enchanting worlds of their favorite Pixar films in highly interactive, fresh ways. The course is as big on artistry as it is on fun, with world-class designers crafting a gorgeous course featuring innovative takes on some of the most recognizable characters of all time.

“The designers strive to bring our guests into the various Pixar movies, rather than just setting a statue to play around, they explore the iconic moments for the film,” said Larabee. “Since Pixar is such a prolific studio, we’re able to continually update the course with new and exciting experiences."

Guests will be invited to see the world through Remy’s eyes and putt through staples of French cuisine - such as a giant carton of cream, or massive flaky baguette - in a delicious stop inspired by Ratatouille. They can navigate their ball through the scare floor and the many screaming-fun doors of Monsters Inc. and they can drop their putter entirely and hit the keys: it’s a jazzy hole inspired by Soul that sees putters using an oversized piano to launch their first shot!

Pixar Putt in Philadelphia will have special advance preview days just in time for tourists visiting Philadelphia for Wawa Welcome America and Independence Day Celebrations. Tickets are now on sale for Sunday, July 1st for previews. Look for special festivities on Thursday, July 6th, the official opening day for Pixar Putt - including a special grand opening ceremony with local and regional dignitaries and tourism partners. Pixar Putt will close in Philadelphia on Friday, October 1, 2023.

Get ready to kick some serious putt this summer on the Philadelphia Waterfront. Buzz your friends & loved ones, and tee up for 18 holes of whimsical mini-golf fun!

The special Pixar-inspired pop-up will be staged at the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, in between Independence Blue Cross Riverrink Summerfest and Spruce Street Harbor Park. The pop-up themed mini-golf experience will be just blocks from Historic Philadelphia, Old City, Society Hill, Northern Liberties and Fishtown - and just a few hundred feet from major all-age attractions and destinations like Cherry Street Pier, Race Street Pier, Liberty Point, Morgan's Pier, Craft Hall, Moshulu, Sea Philly, French Toast Bites, Independence Seaport Museum and more. Stay tuned for special promotions with nearby dining and tourist destinations with special offers when visitors show their Pixar Putt ticket stub.

Days and hours run seven days a week, Monday to Friday, from 12:00pm to 10:00pm (last entry at 8:30pm) and Saturday to Sunday, from Noon to 10:00pm (last entry at 8:30pm). Pixar Putt After Dark will feature evening sessions for guests 18+ every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Pixar Putt is also available for rent to private groups and corporate groups. Click here to book your group.

Tickets are on sale now for children $24.75 to $26.75, adults $29.75 to $31.75, after dark (18+) $31.75 and family four packs (two children, two adults) $99.00 to $107.00. Special priced tickets are available to military families. Tickets are expected to sell out fast, and advance booking is highly encouraged. Aligning with Philadelphia’s commitment to the environment, paperless tickets will only be available online.

Pixar Putt has been wowing visitors in the United States since 2021, where it premiered in New York City at Battery Park. Since then Pixar Putt has played in Houston, San Antonio, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, and Chicago’s Navy Pier where we just returned after a successful engagement in 2022.

Following its run in Philadelphia, Pixar Putt will continue touring nationally, with more locations to be announced in 2023. Don’t miss out on the perfect outing for Pixar fans of all ages! Watch for Pixar Putt to come to a city near you!
