(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Raritan Valley Community College recognized the creativity and ingenuity of its students at the annual Note Bene awards ceremony, held April 19 at RVCC’s Welpe Theatre. Thirty students had been selected to exhibit their works, which included essays, poems, short stories, paintings, songs, and other expressions of creativity.
Each year, Nota Bene celebrates the power of imagination by showcasing outstanding student work from across the curriculum. The students have been nominated by faculty members. Their submissions feature a diverse mixture of literature, videos, demonstrations, and visual artwork. Latin for "noteworthy,” Nota Bene acknowledges the creative strength and ingenuity that is prevalent at Raritan Valley Community College.
Close to a 100 members of the community, including faculty, students, families, and friends, participated in the event. To view the honorees' works, visit the virtual exhibition here.
