Bordentown Students present One Act Play Festival

(BORDENTOWN, NJ) -- The award-winning Bordentown Regional High School Theater Club will present their 2023 One Act Play Festival - A Simpler Time on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at 7:30pm in the Bordentown Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door. All proceeds benefit BRHS senior scholarships.

A Simpler Time is an evening of short, comedic, time traveling plays by Jonathan Dorf, Tyler Dwiggins, Claire Epstein, Kathryn Funkhouser, Patrick Greene, Mora V. Harris, Carrie McWethy (McCrossen), Ian McWethy, and Don Zolidis. All plays star the award-winning thespians of Bordentown Regional High School.

The 2023 BRHS One Act Play Festival includes performances from International Thespian Society Troupe 6803 members Aidan Bramley, Seren Dagli, Candace Farrell, Defnenur Gumus, Ryan Kaufman, Anna Madden, Olivia McGlone, Olivia Olaff, Jo Russo and Jake Sfraga, and from Brynn Bowyer, Sika Brenya, Finn Conroy, Gabriella Cuccia, Candise Davis, Rylie Evans, Kavya Gandhi, Nina Guidotti, Ryan Haje, Gianna Harris, Raymond Hollopeter, Aidan Kramer, Wren Magby, Sarah Mahrous, Ceilidh Manigrasso, Emmary McLaughlin, Kace Omolade, Kent Omolade, Atlas Planas-Borgstrom, Adam Pollard, Kayla Rose, Brandon Rosenblatt, Genevieve Schenone, Gracie Tyler and Luke Williams.

The evening will feature the directorial debuts of seniors Ray Hollopeter, Ryan Kaufman, Anna Madden, Olivia McGlone, Olivia Olaff and Jake Sfraga and juniors Aidan Bramley, Sal Carr, Rachel Schiariti, and Tyler Thalhauser. The production is assistant stage managed by Jayde Rios and run crew by Joshua Moore, with sound by Sal Carr and lighting by Tyler Thalhauser.

The Bordentown Regional High School Theatre Club and Stage Crew are part of the International Thespian Society, an honor organization for students who excel in the theatrical arts. BRHS Thespian Troupe 6803 has produced students who are not only performers, but directors, designers, technicians, leaders, and community activists. Their annual season of dramas, comedies, children’s theatre, musicals, festivals, and one act plays have garnered BRHS numerous awards and nominations from the New Jersey State Thespian Festival, the International Thespian Festival, the New Jersey Theatre Night Awards, and the Greater Philadelphia Cappies Awards.
