The Grunin Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of Emma Grunin to the Grunin Foundation Board of Trustees. Emma is currently a freshman at New York University in the Liberal Studies Core program. In addition to her studies, Emma is a member of the NYU track and field team and the Student-Athlete Leadership Academy.

“I am thrilled to have Emma join the Grunin Foundation Board of Trustees. Having all three of my adult children as board members providing their experiences and guidance as we work to become more equitable funders is incredibly meaningful to me,” said Jeremy Grunin, President of the Grunin Foundation.

Jay Grunin, Co-Founder and Chairman added, “It is an honor for me to see our philanthropic dreams come full circle with three generations working together with esteemed community leaders. I am proud to welcome Emma and look forward to another extraordinary year with our expanding board as we continue working to create impact at the Central Jersey Shore and beyond.”

The Grunin Foundation is a private family philanthropic foundation with a mission to improve the quality of life for all members of our community by using philanthropy to drive economic excellence at the Central Jersey Shore. It believes that equitable access to the arts, abundant educational opportunities and quality healthcare options help to create a vibrant and thriving economic ecosystem. It identifies organizations to implement projects in the sectors of the arts, education and healthcare, that are innovative, have a measurable impact, drive economic growth and align with one or more of its equity commitments.
