(STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- Marvel as the greatest detective in fiction outwits a nefarious criminal during Neill Hartley’s live solo performance, Sherlock Holmes and the Speckled Band, at the Ocean County Library Stafford Branch on Thursday, April 6. The event begins at 10:00am.
The award-winning actor, director and educator will portray the iconic sleuth in the adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Adventure of the Speckled Band.”
Watch Holmes unravel the mystery in his study, then “follow” him to an old mansion to foil a killer before another horrible crime can be committed.
Neill Hartley is a familiar face to local residents who have seen his American Historical Theatre performances, including FDR: An Arsenal for Democracy and Ichabod Crane in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.
Hartley can also be seen in The Sixth Sense, House of Cards seasons two, three and four, and the PBS documentary First Freedom.
He has appeared in regional theater companies including Arden, InterAct, and the Philadephia Shakespeare Festival, and also serves as Artistic Director for Acting Without Boundaries, a theater troupe for young adults with physical disabilities.
