Music and Art Collide at Art629 on November 25th
 

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- On Friday, November 25 from 7:00pm-9:00pm, art629 gallery, home of the Asbury Underground, is bringing music and art together again with special performances by Martin Howth, Kuf Knotz, and Christine Elise. Gallery owner/founder Patrick Schiavino and his partner, art629's event coordinator, Brittany James, will have their art on display and for sale including some new works made in the last few months.

 



The Bravura Philharmonic Orchestra presents A Holiday Concert

DanceWorks at RVCC to Feature Student and Faculty Performances

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Jersey City Theater Center presents a unique visual arts experience this weekend (November 18-20). Heidi Latsky’s D.I.S.P.L.A.Y.E.D is an art exhibit where the art is live and the audience can walk through the sculpture court and then experience dynamic dancing as the performers break out of their stillness.

The theme for the New Jersey Arts Annual 2022 is “Reemergence.” It is on view through April 30, 2023, at the New Jersey State Museum. And yet on the balmy November afternoon I went to see it, I wondered: Have we reemerged? Neighbors and friends are still contracting COVID, there had been FBI warnings of threats to synagogues in New Jersey, and in the days leading up to the elections, fears of voter intimidation and violence loomed.
