"Inspired by an Object" Exhibits in Montclair
(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Studio Montclair (SMI) presents “Inspired by an Object,” a concurrent exhibition from September 10 to October 15 at both Montclair Art Museum’s Vance Wall Art Education Gallery, 3 South Mountain Avenue, and Studio Montclair Gallery, 127 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ. This exhibition is the fourth in SMI’s Community Partnership Exhibition Program created by cofounder and past president Virginia Block and features the artwork of 51 artists.

Nadia Hironaka and Matthew Suib’s New Immersive Installation, Field Companion, Transforms Rowan University Art Gallery Into a Microcosmic Forest
(GLASSBORO, NJ) -- Philadelphia-based artists Nadia Hironaka and Matthew Suib, known for their fantastical moving images and alternate realities, have created a new immersive film and installation for Rowan University Art Gallery. Field Companion, set in a microcosmic forest is based loosely on the pine barrens that dot Southern New Jersey. The exhibition runs from September 7th to October 30, 2021. There will be an opening program on Thursday, September 16 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

D&R Greenway's Art Gallery Presents "Recovery"
(PRINCETON, NJ) -- D&R Greenway Land Trust has reopened its Marie L. Matthews Art Gallery at its Johnson Education Center in Princeton with the aptly named exhibit "Recovery" in partnership with the Garden State Watercolor Society. This river-focused 51st Annual Juried Exhibition will be available for reserved timed viewings from August 11 through October 17, 2021. Along with the juried exhibit, in the lobby of the Johnson Education Center, visitors will be greeted with the Garden State Watercolor Society's 3rd Annual Art Installation of over 100 mini-paintings illustrating aspects of the Delaware River, displayed among river stones.

Montclair Art Museum Presents Two New Transformative Exhibitions
