Brick City Comedy Revue to Celebrate 9 Years In Newark

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Brick City Comedy Revue, Newark's premier comedy showcase will celebrate 9 years in Newark on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Kilkenny Alehouse. This edition of the monthly show, hosted by Justin Williams and DJ Gonzalo Silva, features Jordan Temple, Kevin McCaffrey, Tiz Irie, and Reggie Kush (AKA the GOAT) with Pat Wise as the musical guest. Showtime is 8:00pm.



Monmouth University's Center for the Arts presents Paul Mecurio's Permission to Speak

(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- Monmouth University's Center for the Arts presents Paul Mecurio's Permission to Speak on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 8:00pm in the Pollak Theatre. Paul Mecurio is an Emmy & Peabody Award winning comedian for his work on "The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart," "The Colbert Report" and "The Late Show w/Stephen Colbert." Tickets range from $30-$40.



McCarter Theatre presents Hasan Minhaj: Experiment Time

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre presents four performances of Hasan Minhaj: Experiment Time from Saturday, July 22 to Sunday, July 23, 2023 in the Berlind Theatre. Minjaj has developed a reputation as an irreverent storyteller from his popular stints on The Daily Show and Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj.

Tracy Morgan is one of the most well-respected comedians and actors in his field. Known for starring on seven seasons of NBC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning 30 Rock, Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as "Tracy Jordan," the unpredictable star of "Liz Lemon's" (Fey) hit variety show, TGS with Tracy Jordan.



Brick City Comedy Revue presents North to Shore Edition with Chris Gethard

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Brick City Comedy Revue, Newark's premier comedy showcase, has joined the festivities of North to Shore with a special edition on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Kilkenny Alehouse. The event, hosted by Justin Williams and DJ Popido, promises a special line-up of some of the best comedians around. The comedy lineup includes Chris Gethard, Kenice Mobley, Shakir Standley (Shak), Alex Grubard, and Ariel Leaty. The musical guest is Jané Miranda. Showtime is 8:00pm.



NYC Music Marathon & Smodcastle Cinemas presents Musical Comedy Bard Series Featuring Jack Dallas

(ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ) -- The NYC Musical Marathon is bringing its Musical Comedy Bard Series to Smodcastle Cinemas, Friday, June 2 at 7:30pm. Jack Dallas will perform Jen – X a 95 minute musical comedy farce. Audience participation with local help from theater nerds is anticipated. Laughs allowed with compelling music. A genuine villain poses problems.

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Nurse Blake: Shock Advised Tour on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 7:00pm. Blake Lynch, aka Nurse Blake is a nurse, creator, internationally touring comedian, healthcare advocate, and keynote speaker. Doors are at 6:00pm, showtime is 7:00pm.



Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Steven Wright

(RED BANK, NJ) -- The Count Basie Center for the Arts presents Steven Wright on Friday, April 28th at 8:00pm. Academy Award winner Steven Wright is a prototype comedian that many others continually try to follow. This show was originally scheduled for March 18, 2022 and all tickets will be honored on the new date.
