(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The MAC Players at the Middletown Arts Center present URINETOWN, the hilarious musical with a terrible name, running October 17–26, 2025. Audiences can expect a wickedly funny, fast-paced satire that takes on the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics and even the very conventions of musical theatre itself. (NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey kicks off their 44th Main Stage Season with Diary of a Wimpy Kid weekends from October 10-26, 2025. The photography exhibit has an opening reception on Oct. 16 and is on display through Nov. 23 at 503 Social Club, a visual and performing arts space James founded in Hoboken.

The disaster movie meets true life drama in The Lost Bus, the latest in director Paul Greengrass's growing line of cinematic recreations of headline news incidents. This one is inspired by a story of heroism that emerged from the 2018 California "Camp Fire," the deadliest fire in the state's history, which claimed 85 lives and left tens of thousands of residents displaced. The fire began in the morning when a faulty transmission tower released a live electrical cable whose sparks ignited the dry grass below. Within hours the authorities had declared a mass casualty event.
