"Pretty Woman: The Musical" Is No Longer An Unfathomable Fantasy In Today's Society

What's more American than an inspirational rags-to-riches story? For most, the iconic, seemingly offbeat tale platformed in the 1990 film Pretty Woman wouldn't check off any of the wholesome criteria necessary to be considered as such. However, I'd beg to differ. The theater adaptation of Pretty Woman: The Musical is the modernized anecdote centered around the world's oldest profession.




 

Mansa K. Mussa Photography Exhibit at Vivid Stage

(SUMMIT, NJ) -- Vivid Stage, in residence at Oakes Center at 120 Morris Avenue in Summit presents the work of artist Mansa K. Mussa on display in the Oakes Center lobby through the end of November. The artwork of Mansa K. Mussa is presented in collaboration with the Montclair Art Museum's Yard School of Art, where Mussa is an instructor.

(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is currently presenting the musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, from October 7-22, 2023. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film's Academy Award-nominated score, plus new songs written for the stage. Photographer John Posada was on hand to take photos.
