Algonquin Arts Theatre presents "Footloose"

(MANASQUAN, NJ) -- Algonquin Arts Theatre is proud to announce the cast and creative team for its latest musical, Footloose. This sold-out show will run eight performances March 28-April 6, 2025. Xian Zhang to conduct Beethoven's Ninth Symphony

(NEWARK, NJ) -- New Jersey Symphony's Music Director Xian Zhang will conduct four performances of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. Three of the performances will take place at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark from April 3-5 and a fourth takes place at State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick on April 6, 2025.

(MIDDLETOWN, NJ) -- The MAC Players at the Middletown Arts Center presents the musical within a comedy, The Drowsy Chaperone, over two weekends, February 28 – March 9, 2025. An accomplished, live orchestra will accompany The MAC Players, led by Director Kate Cordaro, Musical Director Eric Sayre and Choreographer Samantha Amaral. You can tell a lot about a nation by its heist movies. British capers usually expect us to root for the criminals and possess an anti-authoritarian streak, with cheeky chappy working class heroes striking back at the establishment. American heist thrillers tend to be more moralistic, usually ultimately siding with law and order and portraying the criminals as trigger-happy sociopaths. France's heist movies usually focus on the mechanics of the heist itself, highlighting the ingenuity and professionalism of the men involved.



State Theatre New Jersey presents Yacht Rock Gold Experience
