McCarter Theatre Center (Berlind Theatre)
91 University Place, Princeton, NJ 08540

This performance is part of Wynton Marsalis’ final season as Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center and Music Director of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and his final tour in those roles.

With the world-renowned Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO) and guest artists spanning genres and generations, Jazz at Lincoln Center presents thousands of performances, education programs, and broadcasts each season in New York City at Frederick P. Rose Hall (“The House of Swing”) and around the world.

Led by Chairman Clarence Otis, Executive Director Greg Scholl, and Artistic Director Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center is home to the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra—15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. Since 1988, the JLCO has served as the resident orchestra and tours extensively worldwide, performing in concert halls, clubs, public spaces, and with leading symphony orchestras, ballet companies, and guest artists.

Under Marsalis’ leadership, the Orchestra’s repertoire spans historic jazz works by Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Thelonious Monk, and others, alongside commissioned works and compositions by Marsalis and JLCO members. Over the past decade, the JLCO has appeared with major orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic, and many others, featuring landmark symphonic works such as All Rise, Swing Symphony, and The Jungle

Education remains central to Jazz at Lincoln Center’s mission, reaching more than 110,000 students, educators, and audiences annually through programs including Jazz for Young People™, the Essentially Ellington High School Jazz Band Competition & Festival, residencies, workshops, and global initiatives.

Jazz at Lincoln Center also partners with NPR Music and WBGO on Jazz Night in America, hosted by bassist Christian McBride, and operates Blue Engine Records, which releases new and archival recordings from JLCO performances.
