

First Prize Winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition, Eric Lu is acclaimed for his poetic insight and powerful artistry. He first gained international recognition by winning the Leeds International Piano Competition at just 20.
He has appeared with leading orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Los Angeles Philharmonic, and performs regularly in major halls such as Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and London’s Wigmore Hall.
An exclusive Warner Classics artist, his recordings have earned widespread acclaim. Born in Massachusetts, he studied at the Curtis Institute of Music with Robert McDonald and Jonathan Biss, and has been mentored by Mitsuko Uchida and Imogen Cooper. He is now based in Berlin and Boston.
