The Kean University Orchestra, conducted by Warren Cohen, presents Music for a Spring Evening on April 28 at 8 pm. Drawing from both the Baroque and Classical traditions, the program reflects the development of orchestral style across the 18th century. The concert will include Rameau’s Tendre Amour and Boccherini’s Sinfonia in A Major. At the center of the program is Telemann’s Oboe Concerto in E minor, featuring Kean oboe faculty member Lynne Cohen, a versatile oboist with extensive experience. The evening concludes with Haydn’s Symphony No. 49 in F minor, “La Passione.”
