Brick City Comedy Revue 11th Anniversary Show

Friday, August 01, 2025 @ 8:00pm

Newark Local Beer
538 Broad Street, Newark, NJ 07102

Newark's premier comedy showcase for over 10 years! Hosted by Justin Williams and DJ Gonzalo Silva.

This month's show features:

Regina DeCicco is the opening comedian for the The View on ABC. At night, you can find Regina performing at the world famous Comedy Cellar in NYC. Also a favorite at Gotham Comedy Club, Regina is often asked to participate in benefit shows for organizations like Gilda’s Club and Achilles International. You can sometimes hear Regina on SiriusXM, either as part of The Ladies of Laughter From The Friars Club album or as a guest contributor to The Howard Stern Show.

Amy Shanker grew up with the looks of a prepubescent Latino boy and a family that her friends dubbed "The Jewish Griswalds," Amy had no choice but to go into standup comedy. Her dry comedic style and edgier perspective stem from her time as an inner-city high school English teacher. Amy's a regular at Laugh Factory, Zanies, and The Stand NYC. She performs at clubs, corporations, and colleges across the U.S.

Adam Mamawala is an American stand-up comedian based out of New York City. Mamawala has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, BET, and SiriusXM, and both of his albums, Statistically More Relatable (2022) and One of the Good Ones (2017), debuted at #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts. Adam has been a freelance contributor to Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update and Someecards and played the lead character in a 6 episode indie romantic comedy series Under Cover Comic (2022), streaming on Amazon Prime, Roku, and Tubi.

J-L Cauvin is the world's best Trump impersonator, a veteran stand-up comedian and has been seen and heard on Howard Stern, Adam Carolla, WTF with Marc Maron, ESPN radio, Showtime's Billions and has over 50 million views on social media. He has 8 stand-up albums, 2 stand-up comedy specials and a weekly podcast as the worst president in the history of the world called Making Podcasts Great Again. Go to www.JLCauvin.com for more.

Marshall Stevenson is a veteran New York City comedian, regular at the Comic Strip Live, and contributor to radio shows across the tri-state area. He lives in a very nice luxury apartment in the South Bronx.

Special Guest Co-Host

Gordon Baker-Bone is a comedian, writer, actor, and producer born and raised in Newark, NJ. Known for his sharp wit and storytelling, Gordon has performed on stages across the country and was featured on AXS TV’s Gotham Live. In 2016, he earned a spot as one of Brooklyn’s 50 Funniest People. His comedic talent extends beyond the stage, co-hosting the weekly podcast, The Bad Advice Show.

Musical Guest

Jané Miranda is a Newark artist who combines the traditions of Jazz, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, Bolero, Bomba y Plena, Hip Hop, & More into a remixed sonic delight of vocalizations and rhythmic proclamations that transport you to a space that is suspended in time.
