Chivalrous Crickets Return!! FOHW Autumn Concert & Fundraiser

Bid farewell to summer and welcome the dark, cozy half of the year under the trees and fairy lights, with Celtic band THE CHIVALROUS CRICKETS, in "Princeton's oldest and most whimsical preserve". Located at 452 Herrontown Rd, The Herrontown Woods Fall Equinox Celebration offers harvest folk crafting (table opens at 5:30 pm), music, a ring dance, and a sunset lantern-lighting ceremony in the stone circle to sing in the season in community.

This is a fundraiser event for the Friends of the Herrontown Woods. BYO blankets, chairs & picnic dinner. Family Friendly. Coffee and art on hand for purchase!

$20 suggested individual / $30 suggested family

5:30 - craft table opens / set up picnic spot

6:15-7:45 music & dancing

Parking: There is a small parking lot near the Veblen House off Herrontown Road here; overflow parking will be available at the Herrontown Woods parking lot near the Barden or at Barbara Smoyer Park, walk across the street to Herrontown Woods. There will be directional signage and lighting available for the trail to Veblen House.

The Princeton Symphony Orchestra Presents the 'Princeton Festival'

The Princeton Festival was first founded in 2004, beginning its inaugural season in 2005 with four performances of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd in the Kirby Theatre at the Lawrenceville School and a performance by the Concordia Chamber Players. It has since grown to a nearly month-long event featuring opera, musical theater, baroque and chamber music, and a constantly evolving selection of other genres, including dance, world music, orchestral pops, and choral concerts.

(RED BANK, NJ) -- Graham Nash, two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and founding member of both the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash, will perform at Count Basie Center for the Arts on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Nash will be joined on stage by Todd Caldwell (keyboards and vocals), Adam Minkoff (bass, drums, guitars and vocals) and Zach Djanikian (guitars, mandolin, drums and vocals), performing favorites from across his sixty-year career.
