Rich Francese’s Italian American Comedy All Stars

Friday, June 28, 2024 @ 7:30pm

The Vogel
99 Monmouth Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701

Funny how?  Rich will show you how funny.  Known for his intelligent and well crafted material and improvisational genius on stage, he’s a killer!  It didn’t take long for him to get noticed by the television industry.  Rich has hundreds of television appearances, including Conan, where he was also a recurring sketch player, The View, where he had the honor of being brought back to the show faster than any other comedian in the history of the show, Celebrity Apprentice (With you know who), Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn where he was a recurring guest, Showtime, and many more.  Rich also was a writer for Saturday Night Live coupled with an occasional sketch appearance.  Rich’s recent special, “The Best Comedy Special Ever” was just released by DryBar comedy.  Rich also starred in The Italian American comedy touring stand up and sketch show “What Are You Looking At?” which was presented by many of the best theaters on the East Coast. He was also selected to perform at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival.  As an actor he’s appeared on Law & Order, and over 20 national commercials.

FRANK SANTORELLI

Frank is known to most people and all Soprano’s fans as Georgie The Bartender from the Bada Bing, where he worked the bar and got beat up quite often by Tony, as a cast member of the Sopranos.  Frank is also a hysterical national headlining comedian for over 30 years having appeared on numerous tv shows, including Conan, Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, NBC Comedy Showcase, Showtime and the list goes on.  Frank also guest starred on Law & Order, Rescue Me, and The Job.  Frank has also appeared in the comedy special The Godfathers Of Comedy, and the classic comedy Meet The Parents.  Nobody imitates a drunken guy at closing time trying to pick up women better than Frank.  It’s one of his classic bits and a must see if you like your comedy on the hilarious side!

ERIC TARTAGLIONE

A dynamo on stage, Eric’s high energy and high likability translates into rapid fire laughs.  A national headliner, Eric is known for poking fun at his Italian upbringing and his shortcomings dealing with everyday life.  A multi-talented artist, Eric co-wrote and co-starred in the award winning Italian American themed play, “Shut up, Sit Down, and Eat!”  Eric recently taped his first stand up special which is set for release later this year.

LATEST COLUMNS

"She's Like the Wind"

The first thing you'll see upon entering the gallery at Deep Space (77 Cornelison St.) is the shadow-outline of a woman's leg. There it is, on a chartreuse background, sticking straight up in the air with a curvaceous bare foot inches from the ceiling. That's all of the subject of "Lemon Lime Toe of God" that the oil painter Delilah Ray Miske is willing to show us. The rest of the body, she implies, is splayed out on a bed. We know it's summer because the window is closed and the air conditioner is plugged in. There's a pretty good chance that the possessor of the leg is undressed. In one hand, she holds a cellphone, and she might be broadcasting something. On the wall, a small whip-like broomstick hangs. It could be the ride of a tiny witch. It could be the professional tool of a dominatrix.
