Here is the 2025 New Jersey International Film Festival Animation Film Panel featuring filmmakers Elizabeth Schneider, Michael Covello, Maureen Zent and Nick Zweig as well as NJIFF Assistant Director Morgan Kalmbach, and NJIFF Director Al Nigrin. Their films will be screening on Friday, June 6, 2025 – Online for 24 Hours and In-Person at 7PM as part of the NJIFF Shorts Program.

The Stars Came to bergenPAC to See the Final Concert by Johnny Mathis

(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- The stars came out to celebrate the final concert of entertainment icon Johnny Mathis' "The Voice of Romance" at Bergen Performing Arts Center (bergenPAC) on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in Englewood, New Jersey. Photographer Jeremy Smith was on hand to take photos.



WBGO's All That Jazz concert series presents Jeff Lorber and Alexander Zonjic

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- WBGO presents the All That Jazz concert series, a unique series showcasing some of the genre's most talented and respected performers at Hamilton Stage in Rahway. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the series features Grammy Winner Jeff Lorber supported by 15-time Detroit Music Award winner Alexander Zonjic. This series is a partnership between UCPAC and Smooth Jazz NJ. Performances take place at 5:00pm and 8:00pm.

Mark Klemow founded Split Level Concerts as a house concert series back in 2000. The series has moved around a bit since then and recently completed its first season in Ocean Grove at the Jersey Shore Arts Center. One thing that has never changed over the years is basing the series around great songwriting.

MBCJ is a Facebook group that shares information on Restaurants and Eateries in the areas of New Jersey and sometimes across the Delaware River into Pennsylvania. American Theater Group and UCPAC's Play Reading Series presents "The Willows" by Sharyn Rothstein

(RAHWAY, NJ) -- American Theater Group (ATG) in partnership with the Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC), will present the premiere reading of Sharyn Rothstein's new play The Willows as part of its free Play Reading Series on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Hamilton Stage in Rahway. MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

A beloved musical since its premiere in 1967, Clark Gesner brings Charles M. Schulz's "PEANUTS" characters to the stage. The musical ventures through the highs and lows of young life, from baseball and homework to young love and friendship. With an empathetic and whimsical eye, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown reminds us of the importance of connection and joy.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

The sky is rarely glowering, but it does seem full; ready to have something to say, or wrapping up something that it is busy saying. The canopy of foliage that hangs over the streetcorners feels saturated with moisture. Even the shadows on the sidewalk are puddle blue. Businesses have their umbrellas open.
