Where Art and Community Meet: SOPAC Partners with SOMA Artists for Unveiled 25 and SOMA Studio Tour

(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- As the 20th Anniversary season kicks off, SOPAC (South Orange Performing Arts Center) is proud to present Unveiled 25, a sweeping exhibition that marks the arts center's fourth collaboration with the SOMA Studio Tour. On view at the Herb + Milly Iris Gallery at SOPAC from September 11 through November 2, 2025, the show highlights the brilliance and diversity of nearly 70 local artists from South Orange and Maplewood.

Alberta Number One kicks off the Fall 2025 New Jersey Film Festival TODAY Friday, September 5!

Alberta Number One will be opening the Fall 2025 New Jersey Film Festival on Friday, September 5. The film will be Online for 24 Hours and In-Person at 7 PM in Voorhees Hall #105/Rutgers University, 71 Hamilton Street, New Brunswick, NJ. Director Sandy Carson and lead actor Liz Peterson will be on hand to do a Q+A with the in-person audience!

PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
