Sherman Theater presents Almost Queen

(STROUDSBURG, PA) -- The most authentic Queen tribute show since the days of Queen themselves, Almost Queen, will rock the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg on May 21. Philadelphia Freedom, A Tribute to Elton John, will open the show.  Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 8:00pm.



Cellist Pablo Ferrández Returns to perform with the Princeton Symphony Orchestra

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- On Saturday, March 5 at 8:00pm and Sunday, March 6 at 4:00pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) welcomes Spanish cellist Pablo Ferrández back to Princeton for a performance of Antonín Dvořák’s iconic Cello Concerto in B Minor. Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov conducts the program, which includes contemporary composer James Lee III’s recent work Amer’ican, and Igor Stravinsky’s beloved Firebird Suite (1919). Performances take place at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall, on the campus of Princeton University.



Atlantic City Arts Foundation Starts Search For New Executive Director As Joyce Hagen Steps Down

(ATLANTIC CITY, NJ) -- After seven years, longtime South Jersey arts advocate Joyce Hagen is stepping down from her position as founding Executive Director of the Atlantic City Arts Foundation. ACAF will seek a new Executive Director to carry on the organization’s mission to foster arts and culture in Atlantic City.

GRAMMY Museum Experience Prudential Center and Verizon Present "Off the Record: Sounds of the Black Diaspora- The Reggae and Afrobeats Conversation"

(NEWARK, NJ) -- GRAMMY Museum Experience (TM) Prudential Center resumes its “live and in-person” programming with the debut of “Off The Record presented by Verizon: Sounds of the Black Diaspora - The Reggae and Afrobeats Conversation” on Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30pm.  The ninety-minute event features a panel discussion, moderated by music industry executive, Chelsea Grant, connecting the nuances and celebrating the differences of Reggae and Afrobeats, followed by a brief, intimate musical performance by select artists. The panel will feature renowned Reggae and Afrobeats artists, Yemi Alade, Kranium, Noah Powa and Ayo Jay with special guest appearance by SiriusXM’s, DJ Anarchy.

(LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- New Jersey Repertory Company presents the world premiere of The Forest by Lia Romeo from March 17 through April 10, 2022. Directed by SuzAnne Barabas, The Forest stars veteran actor of stage, screen and television, Jenny O'Hara, along with Dana Brooke, most recently seen at NJ Rep in Multiple Family Dwelling, Armando Acevedo and Christopher Grant, both new to NJ Rep's company.

2022 United States Super 8 Film + DV Festival Celebrates 34th Anniversary

Now in its 34th year, the United States Super 8mm Film & Digital Video Festival is the largest and longest running juried festival of its kind in North America. The festival encourages any genre (including animation, documentary, personal, narrative, and experimental) made on Super 8mm/8mm film, Hi 8mm/8mm, or digital video. The  Festival will be held Online on February 19+20, 2022.

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.
