Thousands of audience members pour into the outdoor community theater to see quality productions — and maybe even Broadway-bound performers — for the price of a few dollars and a lawn chair.



South Camden Theatre Company presents Comedy Night

(CAMDEN, NJ) -- South Camden Theatre Company will present another evening of laugh-out-loud stand-up comedy at the Waterfront South Theatre on Friday, June 24th at 8:00pm. They will provide the laughs, the drinks, and the food. Make sure to arrive by 7:30pm when the doors open to grab free snacks, and purchase Tonewood beer or glass of Moore Brother's wine. Mary Radzinski headlines the night which includes LaTice Mitchell and Mel Harris. Tickets for the event are $20.



Rutherfurd Hall Foundation to Present Film Festival

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) --  The Rutherfurd Hall Foundation (RHF) will present the Rutherfurd Hall Film Festival on Sunday, June 26. This festival will consist of three film showcases: High School student films (beginning at 1:00pm), Documentary and Experimental films (beginning at 3:00pm) and Narrative films (beginning at 5:00pm).

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

"Yeah, the idea started early last year," enthusiastically stated guitarist Adrian Vandenberg as he discussed his upcoming "My Whitesnake Years" tour, a conglomeration of hits from some of the most revered classic rock acts of all time. "Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
