Passaic County Hosts Northern NJ Empanada Festival

(CLIFTON, NJ) -- On Saturday, June 25th, the County of Passaic, Friends of Passaic County Parks, Inc, and MegaBite Events are hosting another Food Truck Festival – this year’s theme is the Northern New Jersey Empanadas. The event will run from 11:00am– 7:00pm at Weasel Brook Park in Clifton, New Jersey. 



Center Players presents "Jackie Robinson Steals Home"

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- Center Players will conclude its successful 2021-22 season with a production of Jackie Robinson Steals Home at Center Playhouse, 35 South St, in downtown Freehold, NJ from July 8-17, 2022. This black box production of Peter Manos’ play will be directed by Darrell Willis, Sr. The historical drama is set in 1947 at Yankee Stadium where the Yankees are playing the Brooklyn Dodgers and the newest member of the Dodgers is the first African American to play major league baseball -- Jackie Robinson.

Jason Didner to Release "It’s a Jersey Thing"

Montclair singer/songwriter Jason Didner is set to release a compilation of his most quintessentially Jersey music from over 25 years of his songwriting and performance. “It’s a Jersey Thing” will include his Jersey rock songs for adults and kids. 








Newark Museum of Art's 2022 Summer Series of Outdoor Concerts

(NEWARK, NJ) -- For the second consecutive summer, The Newark Museum of Art partners with New Jersey Symphony to bring you a vibrant outdoor series of concerts in the Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden. NMOA music programs span across jazz, gospel, blues, and Broadway tunes (for adults and kids) and they are curated by Visiting Curator of Performing Arts Daryl Stewart and WBGO host Sheila Anderson.

2022 Music Mondays Schedule For Asbury Park

MPAC Announces Free Summer Concert Lineup for 2026

(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Mayo Performing Arts Center's Arts in the Community free summer concert schedule for 2026 has been announced. MPAC will present six free concerts between June and August. The lineup includes the return of three of their most popular events – Bollywood Dance Party, Country Line Dancing and Salsa at Sunset, as well as singer-songwriters, and more.

Classic American Tales' presents Tales at the Dormer House every Thursday

(CAPE MAY, NJ) -- From June 4 through October 15, 2026 (except for July 2), Classic American Tales (CAT) once more presents Tales at the Dormer House in which guests are treated to lemonade and tasty treats while listening to stories written by noteworthy authors, read by a variety of performers. The schedule is 4:00pm every Thursday at the historic Dormer House Bed and Breakfast (800 Columbia Avenue) in Cape May, NJ. Performances are on the front porch, weather permitting.

2026-27 Season Preview: Split Level Concerts at Jersey Shore Arts Center

(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Split Level Concerts at the Jersey Shore Arts Center (JSAC) in Ocean Grove has announced the full concert lineup for its third season. All shows will take place beginning at 8:00pm in JSAC's Palaia Theater. The season lineup includes Willie Nile, John Gorka, Dan Bern, Catie Curtis and Band, Stephen Kellogg, Abbie Gardner, Heather Maloney and Band, and Kim Richey. As they have done in prior years, artists from the Asbury Park music scene will open many of the shows.

"Last year it was 35 years ago when Whitesnake headlined the legendary Donington Festival in England. So, we thought it would be a good thing to celebrate that anniversary and do a "My Whitesnake Years" tour and when we were done, people from all over the world began asking if we'd be willing to do a run here or there and we went to Scandinavia, Spain and there is actually more stuff in the pipeline for next year also and of course now to the United States and it has been a lot of fun so far."
