Sammy Kay Releases Two Singles; Proceeds to go to Women Have Options Ohio

Folk/punk singer-songwriter Sammy Kay released two new singles on June 27, 2022 - "Letter To My Former Self" and a reimagining of Bad Religion's 1993 single "Don't Pray On Me" as a digital 7" entitled Aid & Abet. All proceeds from sales of the single will go to Women Have Options Ohio, a statewide abortion fund in Kay's current home state.



Renault Winery and Resort Announces Independence Day Weekend Events

(EGG HARBOR, NJ) -- Renault Winery and Resort celebrates America's birthday with a two-day, all-day celebration this Saturday, July 2nd and Sunday, July 3rd. Music fans are invited to the first-ever Renault Winery 1st Annual Country Music Festival with two days of live music and bands, multiple stages, wine, food trucks, family fun and other surprises. Next, Renault presents the first-ever Red, Wine and Blue 5K Run and Red, Wine and Blue Kids' Run on Sunday morning, starting at 8:30am. On Sunday night, look to the skies above Renault for an Independence Day themed fireworks show, free with admission to the music festival, or $10 per car to watch from the Renault parking lot.



The Front Bottoms to Play Sherman Theater

(STROUDSBURG, PA) -- New Jersey indie-rock band The Front Bottoms bring their 2022 tour to the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg on Thursday, September 15. Opening for the band will be The Joy Formidable and Mobley. In support of their upcoming new EP, Theresa, The Front Bottoms will hit the road for a five-week headline tour across North America. The band will visit major markets coast-to-coast with stops at festivals along the way.

Asbury Park Theater Company presents Green Day's "American Idiot"

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The newly formed Asbury Park Theater Company (APTCo) will present Green Day’s American Idiot, the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, as the company's debut production.  Performances take place at the Kingsley Theater at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park over the first two weekends of July. The play is based on the Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum album, and boldly takes the American musical where it's never gone before. This high-octane show includes every song from Green Day's album, American Idiot, as well as several songs from its follow-up release, 21st Century Breakdown.

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
