The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents An Afternoon with David Levy

(FREEHOLD, NJ) -- The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents An Afternoon with David Levy on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at 2:00pm. Admission is $5 for Museum members, $7 for non-members. Levy’s presentation will focus upon the observation, analysis, and evaluation of his art: an art that has evolved over fifty years: from Optical art to hard-edged representational painting, and after a hiatus of forty-two years, he is returning to optical art and moving toward abstract geometric painting.



Broadway's Janet Dacal to Perform with Princeton Symphony Orchestra at Holiday POPS! Concert on December 17th

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) invites music lovers of all ages to celebrate the season at its December 17 Holiday POPS! concert featuring Broadway singer Janet Dacal (In the Heights, Prince of Broadway, Wonderland, The Band’s Visit–National Tour). Dacal performs festive songs from the stage and screen, while the Princeton High School Choir adds its ebullient voices to traditional carols, making this the merriest of concerts! Orchestral pieces include Nigel Hess’ A Christmas Overture, music from Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Leroy Anderson’s A Christmas Festival and Sleigh Ride. Edward T. Cone Music Director Rossen Milanov conducts performances of Holiday POPS! at Richardson Auditorium at 3:00pm and 6:00pm on December 17.



State Theatre presents Salsa Concerts by Victor Manuelle and Grupo Niche

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The recently renovated State Theatre New Jersey presents two salsa concerts this November: Victor Manuelle on Friday, November 11 at 8:00pm and Colombian salsa kings Grupo Niche on Saturday, November 19 at 8:00pm. Tickets are $25-$155.

The Growing Stage presents "The Land of Forgotten Toys," a new holiday musical

(NETCONG, NJ) -- The Growing Stage, The Children’s Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre in Netcong celebrates the holidays with The Land of Forgotten Toys from December 2-18, 2022. This charming tale follows Grace, a brilliant young woman with big dreams and a passion for astronomy, who is stuck at a dead-end job at a toy store three days before Christmas. When she is transported to the Land of Forgotten Toys, everything changes. Christmas is in trouble—and it’s up to Grace and her rag-tag crew of forgotten and broken toys to save it!



"Jersey City Nutcracker" Returns to the Nimbus Arts Center in December

(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Nimbus Dance’s Jersey City Nutcracker returns with 13 performances of this acclaimed production, ingeniously weaving together holiday cheer with a thrilling, jazzy interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s classic. Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop presents "Stop the World – I Want to Get Off"

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company’s Young Performers Workshop will be presenting their 2022 Winter Festival of Shows from December 16 through 18. PBS' Independent Lens Launches 20th Season of Free Pop-Up Screening Series in Teaneck and Nationwide

(TEANECK, NJ) -- The award-winning PBS documentary series, INDEPENDENT LENS, presents the launch of the upcoming season of Indie Lens Pop-Up in partnership with the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Puffin Cultural Forum. The season kicks-off on February 4, 2026 with The Librarians and continues through May. The series is free for all but sign up is required.
